Jury selection for the Michael Jackson manslaughter trial is set to begin on March 24 and it will be televised.  Dr. Conrad Murray will get an opportunity to prove that he was not responsible for the death of the King of Pop.

LA county Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor has approved the use of television cameras in the courtroom during the trial.  Opening statements are expected to occur the first week in April and the trial is estimated to take six weeks.

Murray, who remains free on $75,000 bail, told the judge during the arraignment last month: "Your honor, I am an innocent man."

Although Dr. Murray has been banned from practicing medicine in California, he continues to do so in Las Vegas and Houston.

Millions watched the O.J. Simpson trial in 1995 that lasted eight months -- this should garner at least as many followers.
