Brooke Mueller restraining order ends Charlie’s custody …
Last night after the airing of Charlie Sheen‘s 20/20 special, the actor was forced to turn his two-year-old twin sons Max and Bob over to police. Remaining calm, Charlie cooperated fully with the court order.
Sheen’s estranged wife Brooke Mueller filed a restraining order stating that she was threatened by the actor. She requested police assistance in removing the children from Charlie’s home.
“Tiger blood is now drips from my fangs,” Sheen said as he was putting his boys in a car that would take them back to their mother.
Bob, a dead-ringer for his father, was sharing an apple with his dad as Max, in the arms of a nanny, quietly sucked on a pacifier.
After the kids were put into the squad car, someone in Sheen’s camp said “goodbye” to the boys and Sheen responded “Don’t say goodbye, just say see you later.” Charlie told his boys, “We’ll see you soon, you have my word: dad don’t lie!”
Mueller, who also struggles with addiction, claims that Sheen took the twins from her residence on February 26 and withheld them from her since then. When she tried to get them back, he allegedly told her: “I will cut your head off, put it in a box and send it to your mom.”
During her short stint with Charlie in the Bahamas, she said he punched her in the arm, spat on her feet and “threatened to stab my eye with a pen knife.”
Brooke told a judge: “I am very concerned that Charlie is currently insane.” Judge Hank M. Goldberg stripped Sheen of custody and issued a restraining order. Until further notice, the actor cannot get within 100 yards of Mueller or the boys.
Charlie and his lawyer appeared this morning on The Today Show to discuss the latest incident. They plan to go to court tomorrow to file their own legal claims.
