Ellie Goulding: The Royal Wedding Singer (Video)
British singer Ellie Goulding has been chosen to perform at Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding reception at Buckingham Palace on Friday night.
Wills and Kate chose Ellie, 24, because they enjoyed her 2010 debut studio album, Lights. Friends of the singer say that the enormity of this major career booster has not fully sunk in yet for Goulding.
Goulding was named Best British Female at the 2011 Brit Awards and was named the winner of the BBC’s annual Sound of 2010 poll.
