Couple Alert: DWTS Pro Derek Hough and Lauren Conrad

The latest new couple alert involves Dancing with the Stars pro Derek Hough and former Hills reality star Lauren Conrad. Word on the street indicates that they have been getting cozy.

Last night they were seen at Jason Scoopa‘s weekly live show at Sayers Club in Hollywood, and he was reportedly “very hands on.”

A club guest said, “They were close to each other. He had his arm around her waist. They were dancing and holding hands…and were pretty cozy…definitely playful and flirty.”

Trying to throw off photogs, they kept their distance from each other while a security guard helped them to safely exit the building.

Conrad’s former co-star on The Hills, Kristin Cavallari, is teamed up this season with DWTS pro partner Mark Ballas, who happens to be Hough’s best friend.

Derek and talk-show host Ricki Lake make up Team DRickilous. The DWTS couple landed at the top of the leader board on Monday with a racy jive.

Supermodel Gisele Bundchen filmed a series of controversial 15-second television ads featuring sexy lingerie.

The premise of the ads is that the only way for a woman to break bad news to her partner is to slip into her sexy Hope brand undergarments in order to take the edge off the situation.

Bundchen, the wife of NFL quarterback Tom Brady, tells woman in each of the three ‘lessons’, “You’re a Brazilian woman–use your charm.”

The three scenarios: ‘my mother is coming to live with us’, ‘I maxed out my credit card and yours too’, and ‘I crash the car … again’.

The ads have angered Brazilian officials. A government spokesperson said , “The campaign promotes the misguided stereotype of a woman as a sexual object of her husband and ignores the major advances we have achieved in deconstructing sexist practices and thinking.”

Michelle Obama, looking for a little bit of normalcy while living a fish bowl existence at the White House, managed to spend a leisurely 40 minutes filling a shopping cart at an Alexandria, Virginia Target store on Thursday.

With her hair tucked up into a grey Nike baseball style cap and sporting sunglasses, the dressed down first lady wasn’t recognized until she was nearly ready to leave the store with two Target bags in hand.

The President’s wife was accompanied by her assistant, and several casually dressed secret service agents who arriving a half-hour prior to Mrs. Obama to take up unobtrusive positions throughout the store.

We are told that the cashier was the only one in the store to figure out her identity. Mrs. O carried a purse and paid cash for her purchases. So what did she buy? Dog food, toys for Bo and a few undisclosed items.

Her departure was captured by AP photographer Charles Dharapak, who was apparently privy to the shopping trip in advance and was encouraged to take a few candid shots at the end of the well-orchestrated outing.

Patrick Schwarzenegger Ticketed For Speeding in Arnold’s Audi

It appears that Patrick Schwarzenegger is taking after his lead-footed celebrity parents. The 18-year-old was ticketed last week in Santa Monica for driving 54 mph in a 35 mph zone.

Young Patrick was driving Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s 2009 black Audi when he was pulled over and issued an official citation.

The kid is no slacker. He worked over the summer as an intern at The Grove in Hollywood, and has also dabbled in modeling. He currently appears shirtless on a Hudson Jeans billboard ad.

Truth be told, Arnold has had issues with traffic violations in the past, though the majority of his moving violations have earned them no more than a warning.

Maria Shriver has had her share of infractions too. Besides parking tickets, she has also been caught rolling through a stop sign while chatting on a cell phone.

Piers Morgan: X Factor Host Steve Jones Storms Off Set (VIDEO)

X Factor host Steve Jones sat down earlier this week for a pre-taped interview session with Piers Morgan that will air on Friday night. Things were going smoothly until the show host decided to pry into Jones’ love life.

Morgan pressed Jones about his bedroom conquests with the likes of Halle Berry and Pamela Anderson. It was at this juncture that the X Factor celeb abruptly left the building.

A Twitter spat followed:

Show ratings have been lackluster at best for Simon Cowell‘s X Factor, despite the much hyped $5 million payday for the winner .

Could Morgan and Jones have cooked up a little drama to heat things up. It certainly looks that way.

On the other hand, it wasn’t that long ago that Republican Senate candidate Christine O’Donnell walked out on Morgan when he wanted to delve into forbidden territory on the subject of gay marriage.
