The 40th Annual L.A. Gay and Lesbian Center Gala and Auction was held on Saturday night. The star-studded event honored Chaz Bono and Neil Patrick Harris.

Harris and his partner David Burtka received the Rand Schrader Distinguished Achievement Award because “they exemplify the Center’s mission of empowering, healing, advocating and leading the LGBT community.”

Bono received the Board of Directors Award for his trailblazing transgender activism, “bravely speaking his truth and working to make the movement stronger.”

Delighting the crowd with his comedic antics was Leslie Jordan. The diminutive actor played opposite Megan Mullally on Will & Grace, as Karen Walker’s rival Beverley Leslie.

Hitting the red carpet were Sara Gilbert and her partner Linda Perry, Glee celeb Jane Lynch and her wife Dr. Lara Embry, Dita Von Teese, Jennifer Leigh Warren, soap star Chandler Massey, male drag performer Miss Coco Peru, and reality star Mike Manning.
