CNN talk show host Piers Morgan and his wife Celia Walden welcomed a daughter Elise on Friday, their first child together. The birth took place at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Beverly Hills.
Piers made the official announcement via Twitter:
Morgan met Welden, 34, during a photo shoot for GQ. He married the Daily Telegraph features writer and columnist in June 2010.
The television interviewer ended his first marriage in 2008, a union that produced three sons: Spencer, 18, Stanley, 14, and Albert, 11.
The 46-year-old Brit recently gave up his six-year gig as a judge on NBC’s American’s Got Talent with this tweet, “Turned out that juggling’s harder than it looks, so I’m going to focus on CNN.”
