Jesse Eisenberg has filed a lawsuit against Lionsgate Entertainment and Grindstone Entertainment, claiming fraudulent capitalization of the star’s fame.

The legal documents indicate that the low-budget horror film Camp Hell promoted the flick with strong suggestions that Eisenberg had a starring role rather than a five minute cameo appearance.

The actor was merely doing a friend a favor by appearing in the project and was paid the pittance sum of $3,000 for his efforts.

File documents state, “Eisenberg is bringing this lawsuit in order to warn his fans and public that, contrary to the manner in which the defendants are advertising the film, Eisenberg is not the star of and does not appear in a prominent role in Camp Hell, but instead has a cameo role in Camp Hell.”

The Social Network star is seeking $3 million for damages. If the court agrees, that could end up to be the highest paid cameo role in the history of mankind. Go Jesse Go!
