Nick Cannon is reportedly progressing well after suffering “mild kidney failure” while vacationing in Aspen over the the holidays.
The radio and television personality was transferred from a Colorado hospital to a medical facility in Los Angeles and his condition has been upgraded to “stable” according to a recent Twitter posting by Mariah Carey.
The diva shared the first photo several days ago, that featured her prominently sprawled beside her sick husband – pic here.
On Thursday Nick tweeted his own message and photo indicating that he was “getting back to business.” He was referring to a haircut that he received in his hospital room.
Friday’s pic, courtesy of Mariah, shows Nick smiling broadly amid a scene that looks slightly-orchestrated. He’s wearing a hat, is surrounded by electronic equipment, flowers and balloons and is being kissed by his dutiful wife as she places one hand fetchingly on her hip.
The latest photo carried this tagline, “Thank you everyone for all the love & concern. Nick is in stable condition with a good prognosis, hopefully he’ll be discharged within 2 days. As always he’s laughing and in good spirits.”

We’re not sure what type of procedure the America’s Got Talent host underwent but we’re thinking it won’t be long before Mariah shares that tidbit too.
