Heather Locklear was rushed to the hospital Thursday afternoon after mixing prescription drugs and alcohol.
The 50-year-old actress was transported to Los Robles Hospital in an ambulance for a “medical emergency” after her sister placed a 911 call at 2:05 p.m.
When deputies arrived at her home, paramedics were already administering aid to the former Melrose Place star.
According to a hospital spokesperson, Locklear was awake and responsive when she arrived, and is responding well to treatment.
Locklear is reportedly distraught over the recent break up with on-again off-again boyfriend Jack Wagner. The couple called off their engagement in November.
