Matthew Broderick‘s Ferris Bueller Honda commercial, which will air during the Super Bowl, was released online today.

Broderick doesn’t actually reprise his role as Bueller for the ad, titled “Matthew’s Day Off,” but behaves like the character he made famous by faking an illness and playing hooky from work on a film.

The commercial for the all-new 2012 CR-V pays homage to “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off,” with over two dozen references to the movie throughout the commercial. Some are obvious, some are VERY subtle, according to the company. How many can you find?
