Bob Harper: ‘Biggest Loser’ Season 13 Contestants are ‘Nasty Bullies’
According to NBC’s Biggest Loser veteran trainer Bob Harper, season 13 dubbed ‘No Excuses’ is one for the record books … and not in a good way.
The motivational coach has demonstrated his ability to whip his obese charges into shape while redirecting their destructive behaviors since 2004.
During the launch party for the March 2012 issue of Men’s Fitness, he did some trash talking with Radaronline about the current group of contestants.
Bob said, “It’s nasty! It’s nasty. They’re bullies. They hate me saying that but it’s like you know what? It’s true. It’s nasty and it’s tough.”
He named Conda, Kim and Mark as the troublemakers, but did have some positive things to say about Emily, Cassandra and Chism. “I love them they’re really fantastic. Buddy’s a really sweet guy. The rest of them, they’re nasty!”
Last night’s drama-filled episode of The Biggest Loser had Conda and the rest of the Black Team pulling the rug out from under Daphne. They threw the weigh-in so they could vote her off the ranch in Week 8.
The feud between the two women developed when Daphne and her brother Adrian were brought back during Week 4. Conda immediately orchestrated a hate-fest that ended badly for him in Week 6.
TMZ reported today that production on the show was forced to shut down when the remaining contestants walked off set in a dispute over a previously voted off contestant being allowed back on the ranch to compete for the $250,000 grand prize. Adrian or Daphne?
That particular situation has happened in the past. Last season the winner of The Biggest Loser marathon, Ramon Medeiros, was allowed to vie for the top prize. He finished third behind Antone Davis and Season 12 winner John Rhodes.
With 12 episodes remaining and most already filmed, it seems likely that Conda will continue to rule the roost — which all but guarantees lots more drama on the ranch.
