Former plus-size model Crystal Renn has transformed her look quite dramatically by changing her hair color from brunette to icy blonde.
Renn’s runway career has taken a few twists and turns along the way, recently morphing from full-figured photo shoots to mainstream modeling in the latest Sport Illustrated swimsuit issue.
She talked about the new look, “People can’t believe the transformation. I had black hair and now I have white hair. That’s what’s so exciting. I wanted to do something different. I wanted to show up as a different canvas at a shoot.”
Crystal admits, “It’s a very extreme look but very beautiful even though it’s nothing conventional. It’s a challenging look but what’s wonderful is it’s something that photographs beautifully. I’m not trying to conform to one certain look … and that keeps life fun.”
This does beg the question … blonde? or brunette?
