The John Travolta gay allegations are exploding again after dying down over the past couple of weeks, and the new information is being confirmed by inside sources close to the actor.

In the latest edition of National Enquirer, set to hit newsstands on Friday, Joan Edwards, Travolta’s former secretary, confirms the actor had a six year secret relationship in the 1980s with Doug Gotterba, his pilot at the time.

“I did everything for him, including taking care of his personal an professional schedules,” says Edwards. “Of course I knew he was gay. It never bothered me. That’s how I met Doug (Gotterba). We both worked for John at the same time. Doug is a wonderful guy and we are still good friends. He told me that John was gay and they had a sexual relationship.”

Robert Britz, Gotterba’s boyfriend after his affair with Travolta, tells The Enquirer, “Doug told me right at the beginning of our relationship that he’d had a homosexual relationship with John Travolta in the 1980s. Doug Said John was constantly grabbing at his genital area, but he put up with John’s sexual advances because working for him was ‘lucrative.”

Britz also claims Gotterba became turned off by Travolta’s “hairy body” and his weight gain between films.

“After a few years, Doug grew apart from John sexually, and John’s advances eventually started to repulse him,” Britz said. “The relationship ended shortly thereafter.”

Gotterba now owns a private jet company in Santa Barbara, CA.

Travolta has been embroiled in legal battles with masseurs claiming sexual harassment.
