Saul Hudson, better known by his stage name Slash, was the man of the hour earlier today when he received a coveted star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The Guns N’ Roses rock legend unveiled his plaque in front of the Hard Rock Cafe on Hollywood Boulevard Tuesday.

Charlie Sheen, a close pal of the famed guitarist, paid tribute to Slash when he took the podium to congratulate the musician. He even managed a jab at former bandmate Axl Rose.

The ‘Anger Management’ celeb said, “It’s quite fitting that Slash is getting a star on the very street Axl Rose will one day be sleeping on… This star is going to be stepped on more than the coke we did in the ’80s.”

Family members on hand for the occasion included the rockers wife Perla Ferrar Hudson and the couple’s two sons London Emilio, 9, and Cash Anthony, 8.
