Team USA made it look easy when they beat out the rest of the London Olympic gymnastics field to take home the gold.
The “Fab 5” scored 183.596, handily earning the top berth on the podium by an amazing five points ahead of Russia, who took silver. Romania finished third for bronze.
Aly Raisman, Gabby Douglas, Jordyn Wieber, McKayla Maroney and Kyla Ross screamed, cheered, cried and thrust their index fingers in the air as the crowd chanted U-S-A! U-S-A!
Coming up on Thursday is the Women’s Gymnastics Individual All-Around. Qualifiers from Team USA are Gabby Douglas and Aly Raisman.
