Miley Cyrus and her reps are negotiating a lead role for the former Disney star in the upcoming Lifetime television film 'Bonnie & Clyde.'
If all goes well Cyrus will portray outlaw Bonnie Parker, an infamous bank robber who traveled with the Barrow Gang during the Great Depression.
The singer has CAA, Management 360 and Edelstein Laird working on her behalf to field opportunities. They were successful in landing her a multi-episode arc on popular CBS sitcom 'Two and a Half Men' - see film stills here.
She'll be 20 in November and is slated to appear as the daughter of a spy in the Universal Pictures comedy-action flick 'Family Bond,' currently in development.
Lifetime is known for taking chances with young talent. They recently took a big leap of faith when they cast Lindsay Lohan as Elizabeth Taylor in the biopic 'Liz & Dick.' That made-for-television film will air Nov. 25, 2012 - see movie trailer here.
