Beyonce has had a change of heart regarding her plan to appear in the much-anticipated big screen remake of 'A Star Is Born.'
The 31-year-old entertainer revealed, "I was looking forward to the production of A Star Is Born and the opportunity to work with Clint Eastwood. For months we tried to coordinate our schedules to bring this remake to life but it was just not possible. Hopefully in the future we will get a chance to work together."
Previous versions of the iconic film showcased the talents of Janet Gaynor in 1937, Judy Garland in 1954 and Barbara Streisand in 1976.
According to Variety, Grammy-winning jazz singer Esperanza Spalding could end up cast in the lead role. Eastwood has approached a number of actors including Bradley Cooper for the male lead.
