Television personality Brooke Burke-Charvet recorded a video to share some startling news — she will soon undergo thyroid surgery to remove a cancerous nodule.
The co-host of the Dancing with the Stars revealed, “You never think some tiny nodule… I never ever, ever thought I was going to get that phone call with bad news. I need to have a thyroidectomy.”
Burke-Charvet, 41, admits, “I’m so used to being in control and taking care of everybody and my kids and now I find myself in this really out-of-control situation. I’m just going to make a positive out of this negative thing. I’m going to be a really good patient and do everything I need to do.”
