The two-hour season three finale of 'The Voice' Tuesday night ended in victory for Florida pop-rocker Cassadee Pope.
The former front woman for the band Hey Monday signed on with Team Blake to see if she could make it as a solo performer and discovered that she definitely has what it takes.
Pope tweeted, "Holy moly cannoli!!! I won!!!!! Thank you all SO much. I'm absolutely in awe and so thankful for this incredible experience." She added, "And of course, @blakeshelton You've taught me that I can stand on my own and be accepted. You're the best."
Country singer Blake Shelton ended up with two people vying for the recording contract and cash prize. His other protege, Scottish rocker Terry McDermott, was runner-up.
Third place honors went to Team Cee Lo's protege, Minnesota native and dark horse Nicholas David.
There were no losers. The three finalists were each presented with keys to a 2013 Kia Sorento. In the words of Oprah .... "you get a car, you get a car, you get a car."
