Christopher Federline‘s lawsuit against Britney Spears alleging that he is the real father of her oldest son Sean Preston was a hoax filed by fraudster Jonathan Lee Riches.

Riches, it turns out, is a serial litigator who has filed more than 2,600 lawsuits in federal district courts all over the country, and in many of the filings, he names Hollywood stars, musicians, athletes, politicians and other public figures as defendants.

A convicted felon who was taken back to jail for probation violations, 35-year-old Riches recently claimed he was the uncle of Sandy Hook Elementary School shooter Adam Lanza.

Earlier this year Riches filed a lawsuit against Kanye West and Kim Kardashian for being terrorists. In a lawsuit against Justin Bieber, he posed as Selena Gomez‘s father and accused Bieber of borrowing money for an abortion and stealing money for a penis enlargement. He also filed a lawsuit against Brad Pitt under the name Jonathan Jolie, claiming he was assaulted by the actor.

Riches filed the lawsuit against Britney under the name Christopher Federline, brother of Kevin Federline, taking out a restraining order against the pop princess, claiming she stole his credit card and ran up $4,569 in charges. He said in the lawsuit that when he confronted her about the credit card, she threatened to go public with their secret that he was Sean Preston’s real father.

“I’m the true father of Sean Preston, not Kevin,” the court papers state. “I do confess I slept with Britney, and I am the true father, but the public does not need to know. I seek a restraining order from Britney Spears. She is out of control and a maniac.”
