I'm not sure how I missed this, but the cast and crew of "The Big Bang Theory" surprised the live audience and executive producers with a flash mob during an October 23, 2012 live taping of the show.
Big Bang Theory cast members Kunal Nayyar (Raj), Simon Helberg (Howard), Johnny Galecki (Leonard), Mayim Bialik (Amy), Melissa Rauch (Bernadette), Jim Parsons (Sheldon) and Kaley Cuoco (Penny) -- act surprised when they hear Carly Rae Jepsen's hit "Call Me Maybe" playing in the studio as the crew breaks out into dance during a take for she show as unsuspecting show-runners Chuck Lorre, Bill Prady and Steve Molaro look on.
Cuoco came up with the idea, which was intended as a surprise for the audience and executive producers, and enlisted the help of her sister who choreographed the routine. Cast members jumped into the coordinated "Big Bang" flash mob delighting the audience and show-runners.
