With film award season now well underway, it was yet another star-studded event Thursday at the 18th Critics' Choice Awards at Barkers Hanger in Santa Monica.
Hitting the red carpet in ravishing red were four nominated actresses. Jessica Chastain wore Prada and won Best Actress for 'Zero Dark Thirty.' Sally Field 'Lincoln,' and Helen Hunt 'The Sessions' were both nominated for Best Supporting Actress honors.
Rounding out the red squad in a sheer silk chiffon Pamella Roland gown was actress Kerry Bishe, who co-starred in 'Argo.' The Ben Affleck film won Best Picture, Best Actor and Best Director.
Jennifer Lawrence, nominated for two films, rocked Prabal Gurung. She won Best Actress in an Action Movie for 'The Hunger Games.' She was also up for her role in 'Silver Lining Playbook.'
'The Impossible' nominee Naomi Watts wore Emilio Pucci. Emmy Rossum was fabulous in a midnight blue Carolina Herrera gown. Our least favorite look was worn by Carrie Keagan, who chose a black velvet gown with white collar and cuffs by EMILcouture.
Amanda Seyfried chose a bright blue dress by designer Marios Schwab. Eva Longoria was gorgeous in a violet-hued Monique Lhuillier creation.
Anne Hathaway looked spectacular in a glittery gold Oscar de la Renta gown. She won Best Supporting Actress for her role as Fantine in 'Les Miserables.' Amy Adams, nominated for 'The Master,' wore a white and navy dress by Vionnet.
