'OZ the Great and Powerful' European Premiere

During the London premiere screening of ‘Oz the Great and Powerful’ Thursday, Mila Kunis looked like she just stepped out of a fairytale.

The actress was stunning in an Alexander McQueen dress that she accessorized with dazzling Gemfields Zambian emerald ring and earrings.

Kunis is suddenly motivated to find balance in her life since hooking up with ‘Two and a Half Men’ actor Ashton Kutcher, her former teen co-star in ‘That 70′s Show.’

She revealed during a recent interview, “Living to work isn’t healthy.  Now I’m learning to work and live, and want to have fun with it.  I don’t think I can do this three-movies-a-year thing.  It’s too much.  There comes a point in your life where you want to be…home.”

Kunis admits, “It’s weird that at the age of 29 I’m talking about this, but the truth is I don’t think I can do this for the rest of my life.  I want to be a producer but I also want a life.  I want a family.  I’m never in the same place for more than two months.  How am I ever going to have a family like that?  You have to make compromises.”

We would be remiss if we didn’t mention that the UK movie premiere was also attended by Mila’s co-stars, including James Franco, Michelle Williams, Zach Braff and Rachel Weisz.

Michael Jordan's new house in North Carolina

Michael Jordan has returned to his roots and purchased a new house in Cornelius, North Carolina.

Jordan, a majority owner of the NBA’s Charlotte Bobcats, spent most of his childhood in North Carolina, and played college ball for the North Carolina Tar Heels. His new home, located on Lake Norman, is just 22 miles from where the Bobcats play.

Jordan, who just celebrated his 50th birthday, got a great deal on the 12,310 square foot lakefront home, snapping it up for $2.8 million. The home was originally listed for $3.99 million in 2011, before being foreclosed on in August 2012. It was later relisted for $3.49 million.

Built in 1993, the 6 bedroom, 8 bath home sits on the seventh hole of the gated and private Peninsula Golf Club, and features “stunning panoramic lake views from almost every room,” as well as a pool, spa, entertainment area, gym, game room dance floor, sauna, multi-level patio and private dock.

Christian Slater engaged

Christian Slater is engaged to longtime girlfriend Brittany Lopez.

The Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves star announced his engagement on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon Wednesday night.

Describing his first meeting with Lopez, Slater told the talk show host, “I went down to Miami a couple years ago, stayed at this little place called Little Palm Island, and this girl came walking along with another lady, a slightly older lady. I was sitting in my usual spot, eating my oatmeal that morning, and this spot was famous for people proposing to each other, and next thing I know she gets down on one knee and proposes to this older lady.”

“I thought I had just witnessed a nice lesbian engagement,” Slater continued, “so I was coming over to say congratulations, but it turns out it was her aunt and she was just trying to help her aunt capture the beauty and romance of the moment. She was making a joke, and I witnessed it, and it intrigued me, and the next thing I know we were hanging out in the Everglades.’

This will be Slater’s second marriage. He divorced Ryan Haddon, the mother of his two children, in 2007.

Holly Madison due in early March

It pains us to report that former ‘Playboy’ model Holly Madison plans to consume her placenta after the birth of her first child, due on March 5.

She blogged on Wednesday, “This might sound gross, but I’m totally planning on having my placenta turned into pills I can take after giving birth.  I heard it helps women recover faster and I want to recover as quickly as I can.”

The practice isn’t as whacky as you might think.  The process involves cleaning and cooking a woman’s afterbirth and processing the remnants into capsules that will reportedly help new moms to nourish their bodies and curb the possibility of postpartum depression.

‘Mad Men’ celebrity January Jones had her expelled placenta turned into pills after the birth of son Xander in September 2011.

Jones encourages the practice: “Your placenta gets dehydrated and made into vitamins.  It’s not witch-crafty or anything.  I suggest it to all moms.”

The pills may not be FDA-approved in the U.S., but Yale Prevention Center founder Dr. David Katz reports, “This is a time-honored practice of eating the placenta.  It is nutrient-rich and a source of hormones. There is certainly a potential medicinal use.”

Madison, with only a few days to go before the blessed event, tweeted: “Making progress painting my Alice in Wonderland themed nursery … I wonder if I will finish in time!”

Baby daddy is boyfriend Pasquale Rotella, the millionaire CEO of Insomniac Events.
