The ensemble cast of 'Saturday Night Live' jumped on the opportunity to poke fun at the 33 minute blackout that held up Super Bowl XLVII play last Sunday night in New Orleans.

Taran Killam and Jay Pharaoh were among 'SNL' regulars who mocked CBS commentators James Brown, Dan Marino, Bill Cowher, Shannon Sharpe and sideline reporter Steve Tasker.

The sketch was an exaggerated deer-in-the-headlights look at what might have happened behind the scenes during the longest 33 minutes in the annals of NFL championship history.

Pharoah, as Sharper, speculated on what was going through players heads during the prolonged wait: "Well, this is only conjecture.  But if I'm out there, and there's been no power for 20 minutes, I start to think, 'Who on this team are we gonna eat first?'  The obvious choice is the punter, because he'll be easiest to catch.  But then if you need a punter later in the game, you don't have one because you ate him."

To fill the silence later, Pharoah blurts out, "Ray Lewis knows who killed those people because it was him!"
