Justin Bieber has cancelled one of two concerts scheduled this week in Portugal.
The venue in Lisbon where Bieber is scheduled to perform, posted that the concert was cancelled due to "unforeseen circumstances," although many media outlets are reporting the concert was cancelled due to low ticket sales.
"Due to unforeseen circumstances, Justin Bieber was forced to cancel the second performance in Portugal, on March 12," the show's promoter posted. "The Canadian singer is eager to play for the Portuguese fans on March 11."
The cancellation comes on the heels of a rough week for Bieber, beginning with the singer's 19th birthday, which he called his "worst birthday ever" after being turned away from a nightclub in London because his entourage included underage teens, including Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith's son Jaden Smith.
He then caught flack for arriving nearly an hour late for his concert last Monday at London's O2 Arena amidst boos from the audience.
He then got in an altercation with a paparazzo when he was released from the hospital Friday morning.
Jada Pinkett Smith and Piers Morgan both took to social media platforms to defend Bieber, with Piers tweeting:
I'm backing @justinbieber in paparazzi-gate. That photographer was a revoltingly rude, ignorant, foul-mouthed hooligan.

And Jada posting on Facebook, likening the treatment of Bieber to bullying.
Bieber's next concerts are scheduled in Spain on Thursday and Saturday.
