Linda Cardellini gave the co-hosts of 'The View' the inside scoop Friday on her engagement to her long time boyfriend and baby daddy Steven Rodriguez.
Cardellini snagged a recurring role on 'Mad Men' in April and sat down with Whoopi Goldberg, Sherri Shepherd, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and guest co-host Jerry O'Connell to talk about her career, including lucrative voice work that she has done for three years on 'Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated.'
The conversation, taped Wednesday, quickly morphed into a discussion about her surprise marriage proposal that was orchestrated the previous evening by her partner.
Linda related, "I was surprised that it was happening at that moment. We were actually with some of the people I love most: my sister, and my cousins and one of my best friends, Maura Tierney."
She continued, "We were sitting there after watching the Broadway play 'Lucky Guy,' and we were all having dinner. He brought our baby out and he started getting chocked up and then he got on his knee. It was very beautiful."
The 37-year-old actress revealed that she and Rodriguez have known each other since they were 10. Cardellini gave birth to the couple's daughter Lilah-Rose in February 2012.
