Jenny McCarthy is reportedly in talks to replace panelist Joy Behar when she exits 'The View' in August.
The television personality is no stranger to the show, having appeared previously as a guest co-host on the ABC talk show.
US Weekly is reporting, “She is in talks right now. The cast and crew get a kick out of Jenny, she’s a good fit.”
When Behar first announced her retirement, McCarthy's plate was full with her VH1 show 'The Jenny McCarthy Show,' which has since been cancelled -- leaving her available and more than willing to step in.
Another name at the top of the short list is Brooke Shields, 48, who is rumored to be in line to replace Elisabeth Hasselbeck, 36, come fall.
Executive producer and top honcho Barbara Walters revealed in May that she plans to retire in the summer 2014, after a year of television specials. The broadcast maven is 83.
But we digress. McCarthy is a spokesperson for Tria hair removal system and gave them a comedic shout-out during her last appearance on 'The View' - check out the video:
If you were casting 'The View,' who would your dream co-hosts be to sit beside Whoopi Goldberg and Sherri Shepherd?
