Kanye West may go down on record as the most over-protective father on the planet based on his decision to purchase not one but two armored vehicles at $1 million a pop.
Take that ... Paparazzi!
According to automobile blogger Jalopnik, the rapper ordered two customized high-performance armored vehicles from Latvia's Dartz Motorz Company.
Kim Kardashian's baby daddy reportedly opted for the Prombron Iron Diamond model "because it is made to withstand attacks from landmines and rocket-propelled grenades."
Dartz is responsible for the gold-plated SUV created for Sasha Baron Cohen's film 'The Dictator.'
If the report turns out to be true, it almost makes Beyonce look like an irresponsible parent for driving her daughter Blue Ivy around The Hamptons in a top down convertible.
In other Kanye-Kim news, she remained holed up at Kris Jenner's gated digs in Calabasas while he is enjoying the night life in Greece.
We're also hearing that West has been trying to wangle the cover of Vogue for Kim and baby North West. He hopes to wear down editor Anna Wintour, who has yet to be convinced that featuring a reality star on a Vogue cover is a particularly strategic move.
