Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, and Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, authorized the release of two family photos showing the future King of England, Prince George.

The Royal baby is swaddled in the same lacy blanket that covered him on the day his parents presented him to the world outside of St. Mary’s Hospital in London on July 23.

Kate Middleton is holding the couple’s son in both photos. One shows them standing and in the other they are sitting on a blanket in the grass at the Bucklebury estate of her parents.

The second pic includes Tilly the retriever, a Middleton family pet, and Lupo, Will and Kate’s cocker spaniel.

The images were captured by Michael Middleton in early August in the garden of the home where he and his wife Carole raised their three children, Kate, Pippa and James.

Will and Kate moved in with the Middleton’s for the first three weeks of George’s life, before heading back to Wales, where the new dad is finishing up his stint as a search and rescue helicopter pilot.

Prince William sat down for a CNN interview Sunday and had this to say about his first born child: “He’s a little bit of a rascal and he’s growing quite quickly, actually. He’s a little fighter — he wriggles around quite a lot and he doesn’t want to go to sleep that much.”
