Pro dancer Mark Ballas was miffed last night at the critique he and celebrity Christina Milian received from ‘Dancing with the Stars’ guest judge Julianne Hough.

The couple received 8’s across the board from Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and the visiting Hough, a former pro on the show. It was Julianne’s critique that upset her former childhood dance partner.

She told Ballas and Milian, “There were moments where I felt like choreography-wise, I felt like it was two people dancing side-by-side rather than together. So I really want to see Milian shine. I’ve danced with Mark. You have to stand in front to make sure you’re seen.”

After Monday’s show, Mark told a reporter, “The one comment for me that was a little funny is that I make it all about me… all the critiques were at me, and not at Milian. So I thought that was a little hypocritical.”

He was referring to her comment at the start of the show, when she indicated that she would not show favoritism to her brother Derek Hough because she didn’t plan to focus on the pros — she would be watching and judging the celebrities.

It isn’t the first time that Ballas has been accused by the judges of over-shadowing his partner during a performance. The two-time champion won the mirror ball trophy with Olympic champions Kristi Yamaguchi and Shawn Johnson during his 13 seasons on ‘DWTS.’

Julianne and Mark Ballas won the Junior Latin American Dance Championship and the gold medal at the Junior Olympics when she was 15 and living with his family in London.
