The Jonas Brothers have made it official three weeks after canceling their tour in a mysterious eleventh hour decision.

Kevin Jonas confirmed, “It’s over for now.” His brother Nick Jonas added, “It’s really hard to say ‘forever.’ We’re closing a chapter, for sure.”

Their sibling Joe Jonas acknowledged, “It was a unanimous decision.”

Nick was the first brother to try his hand at show business, appearing on Broadway at age 7 with his sibs soon following in his footsteps. They appeared together for the first time on Disney Channel’s ‘Hannah Montana Show.’ Their first movie, ‘Camp Rock,’ was released in 2008.

The pop rock boy band has an estimated net worth of $30 million earned primarily from nine tours spanning 2005-2013 and four studio albums.

Their upcoming album, ‘V,’ was slated for release this fall. Two singles ‘Pom Poms’ and ‘First Time’ were released in April and June. ‘What Do I Mean to You’ was announced on Sept. 12, 2013 as a possible next single but the sudden “deep rift within the band” apparently changed all that on Oct. 3, when Nick expressed serious reservations about the future of the group.

On Oct. 22, Nick Jonas tweeted, “Bear with us.” His brother Joe added, “Please hold while we get our s**t together.” A week has now passed and they’ve decided to walk away “for now” …
