‘Partridge Family’ television star David Cassidy was arrested in Southern California on suspicion of drunken driving Friday night. It is his second arrest within the past five months.

The 70’s television heartthrob was driving a rental car when he was pulled over by the California Highway Patrol near Los Angeles International Airport for making an illegal right turn against a red light.

According to TMZ, the actor-singer reportedly blew a .19 … more than twice the legal limit.

Cassidy, 63, was released Saturday morning on $15,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in court Feb 5, 2014.

The guy has a history of similar arrests, having picked up his last DUI in August 2013 in Schodack, New York, after being pulled over for failing to dim his high-beams. The officer smelled a strong odor of alcohol during the traffic stop, prompting him to administer field sobriety testing. A Breathalyzer revealed a 0.10 blood alcohol level. A judge charged him with a felony because of a prior DUI in Florida in 2010.

He got his start in show business in 1956 at the age of six. Cassidy appeared on the popular television series ‘The Partridge Family’ from 1970 to 1974 with his real life step-mother Shirley Jones. He went on to become a recording star and teen idol.

His daughter Katie Cassidy, 27, has been an actress for the past ten years, appearing on ‘Melrose Place,’ ‘Gossip Girl,’ and in a number of feature films.
