Last night the Staples Center was filled with the biggest entertainers on the planet for the 56th Annual Grammy Awards, hosted by LL Cool J.
The event began and ended with two stellar performances. Beyonce and Jay Z opened the show with a sexy performance of ‘Drunk In Love.’
The final act of the night featured Macklemore and Ryan, who were joined by Mary Lambert and surprise performer Madonna singing ‘Same Love.’
Bringing the performance to yet another level was Queen Latifah, who joining them onstage where she officiated at 33 marriages. The television and film actress was sworn in as a commissioner by the State of California in order to perform the legally binding ceremony. Her commission expired at midnight.
She said afterward, “To have your wedding in front of 100 million people is pretty momentous. I can say I was here and that will not leave me. I look forward to dashing off and signing all their wedding certificates.”
