American Horror Story Season 4 Episode 2 was so creepy I had to watch it this morning with the lights on so I wouldn’t go to sleep and have nightmares about clowns or having my head bitten off.

Or being hacked to death and buried in the ground overlooking the city. You know, normal things people dream about. (Nightmares are kind of a thing with me after watching slightly-horrifying shows at night. Just ask me about that time I fought of zombies in my sleep post-The Walking Dead!)

Sarah Paulson is killing it as Bette and Dot Tattler. Seriously. She’s playing two characters in the same body and playing both so well that they are actually definable characters despite the fact that they are always together.

(Bette’s on their left. Dot’s on their right.)

Michael Chiklis also proved, once again, that he’s really good at playing the angry jerk, except last night he took it one step further than was kosher and had one of their own killed in jail.

That will not bode well for him. Not at all. Jimmy Darling is not going to stand for 1) being beaten in the street or 2) having his friends destroyed by angry mobs. Nope.

Dell Toledo is going down.

But none of that is really why you neeeeeed to go watch American Horror Story online immediately.

Oh no. That reason? Dandy Mott.

WHAT IN THE HELL IS THAT GUY’S DAMAGE!?!? Holy crap! He’s freaking scarier than The Clown!

There’s the sense that The Clown (which, what’s that guy’s name? Should we just keep calling him The Clown?) was made the way he is because he’s a legit freak. There’s something disfigured about him or he was experimented on and made to become disfigured. Something.

Something happened to him. Dandy Mott? Just a straight up sociopath. Yep. Stone cold killer.

Those are the kinds of characters that completely freak me out because you never know if the guy in line behind you in the grocery store might also be a sociopath thanks to Dexter.

And another question about The Clown.

Does Elsa know about him? How did it happen that The Clown and Elsa’s traveling freak show just happened to come to Jupiter, FL at the same time and she doesn’t know about him and he doesn’t know about her?

She doesn’t seem to know who’s doing all the killing, but she’s also a woman of secrets, and this might be one she’s keeping. Is it to her advantage somehow to scare people so they’ll want to come to the freak show? That doesn’t make sense, but then again, maybe it does?

Or will she take The Clown in?

What is going to happen with Elsa and this clown when they have their inevitable showdown? I can’t wait to find out.
