Paris Hilton Signs Deal with Cash Money Records

We would be lying if we didn’t say this comes as a shock! Lil Wayne‘s record label Cash Money Records has signed Paris Hilton to release an album.

Brothers Bryan ‘Birdman Williams and Ronald ‘Slim Williams’ are the founders and co-CEO’s of the lucrative enterprise that operates as a subsidiary of Universal Music Group.

Birdman announced the news on Twitter, “Lil Wayne’s Cash Money family has a new member! Paris Hilton: RichgangRichgirl.”

Do you remember Hilton’s 2006 album? Move the slider to the 30 seconds mark for a little taste of ‘Stars Are Blind.’

Paris has been training and DJing with some pretty impressive house music names for the last couple of years. She told Showbiz411 that her upcoming album will be produced by her old boyfriend Afrojack and will feature some well known talent.

She hit Twitter to share a YouTube link to ‘Last Night (I Wanna Bang You)’ that she recorded with Lil Wayne in November:

Jon Bon Jovi is starting to open up about the sudden departure of Richie Sambora from the band six weeks ago.

The rocker told an Evening Standard reporter, “It’s getting more and more difficult every day to not just sit here and say something… because all I continue to say is this — it’s for personal reasons.”

In early April, Sambora abruptly left the Bon Jovi world tour. He later tweeted, “It’s all good. Thanks for all of the positive vibes. This is a private matter but please know I love the band and you fans.”

Richie’s most recent stint in rehab for alcohol abuse issues occurred in 2011. Bov Jovi acknowledged, “He’s been through it before, fortunately for us the same guy who filled in last time was available this time.”

“Life goes on, so if someone chooses not to be here… You have a choice — you either figure it out, go and grow, not only survive but thrive. Or, you say, ‘I hate my brother and I’m gonna quit the band.’”

JBJ revealed this about the day Richie bolted, “At 3:30 p.m. on show day the phone rang and it was Paul the manager, and he said, ‘Guess what?’ and he didn’t even have to finish the sentence. I said, ‘You’re kidding.’ We went on that night. I haven’t seen Richie since. Love him, spoken to him once. I talked to him once, once in six weeks and 18 shows.”

Would he welcome Sambora back? Jon told the Daily Mirror, “He can return when his is ready to die every night the way I walk on the stage. It’s different without Richie. No one’s mad, no one’s sad.”

Mariah Carey Soliciting Help with Puppy Names

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have decided to expand their family by adding three new puppies to the already lively mix.

The entertainer is soliciting suggestions from her Twitter followers in order to come up with unique names for the female and two male puppies. The canines are the offspring of her pup Squeak E. Beans.

The first tweet came on Sunday with a photo of son Moroccan, “Hi,. I’m Roc Starr .. And you?” (I know the pic is blurry but c’mon !!!) help name Dempuppies 2 boys 1 girl.”

The second tweet featured Roc’s sister, “Ms Monroe and Squeak E Bean’s baby boy, as yet unnamed! help name dem puppies!! 2 boys 1 girl use #namedempuppies.”

Nick and Mariah’s animal menagerie includes four Jack Russell Terriers; Cha Cha, Jackie Lambchops, Jill E. Beans and JJ.

Kellie Pickler Brings DWTS Audience to Tears

During night-one of the ‘Dancing with the Stars’ season finale, country singing sweetheart Kellie Pickler and her pro partner Derek Hough brought the audience to tears with their final performance of the evening.

Their “super-sized” freestyle performance was flawless and left them with a perfect score of 30. Carrie Ann Inaba sobbed as the former ‘Idol’ alum rushed over to give her a hug.

Inaba finally managed, “Kellie, you just bared your soul on the dance floor and it was one of the most beautiful things that I have ever seen.”

Judge Len Goodman stood and gave the pair a personal standing ovation. “Good dancing engages the brain, great dancing engages the heart. You were totally immersed in the dance, in each other, you drew everyone into that performance.”

In total agreement with his peers, Bruno Tonioli called the performance, “a dance of spellbinding beauty” and “a contemporary work of art.”

Derek Hough has danced three previous partners to victory — Brooke Burke, Nicole Scherzinger and Jennifer Grey. The talented pro admitted on Monday’s show that he nearly opted out of this season but something in his gut told him that things would be special because of Kelly Pickler.

Team Pickler-Hough receiving six 10′s last night but they had stiff competition from 16-year-old Disney star Zendaya Coleman and her pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy, who lead the pack by a single point going into tonight’s live championship event on ABC 9/8c.

Who do you think will take home the coveted mirror ball? Will it be Aly Raisman, Kellie Pickler, Jacoby Jones or Zendaya Coleman?

‘X Factor’ Confirms New Judges Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio

Simon Cowell will be the lone male judge on the third season of ‘X Factor,’ confirming yesterday that Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio will join veteran judge Demi Lovato this fall.

Simon announced, “It’s taken more than a decade, but I’m delighted to finally be on a panel with three girls (I think!). Paulina and Kelly both have great taste and massive experience in the music industry and together with Demi, this is going to be a fun panel. It just feels like the time to do something different.”

No stranger to the format, Kelly was a former judge on the UK version of the ‘X Factor’ series in 2011.

The Destiny’s Child singer said, “I am very excited to be reuniting with Simon Cowell and THE X FACTOR family. It feels great to be able to take this journey here at home in the States!”

Rubio will bring a Latin influence this season, “I love THE X FACTOR! I can’t wait to find the next big music star here in America. I’m so thrilled to be part of the show as a judge. Simon, be careful what you wish for, let’s see if you are ready to handle me, empieza la fiesta, amigo!”

Rowland took the opportunity to tweet about the June release of her new album, “So excited to finally unveil my album cover for #TalkAGoodGame. Coming to a speaker near you June 18! Are you ready?!”

The new panelists replace former judges Britney Spears and L.A. Reid. What do you think?
