Disturbing video footage of Anna Nicole Smith wearing clown makeup during her pregnancy was presented as evidence that Howard K. Stern and two doctors conspired to keep her in a drug stupor in the years preceding her death.

Prosecutors introduced the 45-minute video in a preliminary hearing last week intended to determine what role Stern, Dr. Sandeep Kapoor, and Dr. Khristine Eroshevich played in Smith’s death.

The video was shot during a birthday party for 9-year-old Riley Shelley, the daughter of Gina Shelley, who’s father owned the Bahama’s home Smith lived in.

Riley’s father, Ford Shelley, took the tape from the home the day after Smith’s death, and released segments to the media.

In the video, Smith appears confused, mistaking a baby doll for her unborn child.

Stern claims Smith was acting for the camera.

It seems Stern had a penchant for photographing and filming Smith in drugged states. Alarming pictures of a previous drug overdose, taken from Stern’s camera, showed her naked and covered with vomit.

Larry Birkhead to Testify Against Howard K. Stern

This has been a long time in coming. The preliminary hearing in the death of Anna Nicole Smith starts today. This hearing is intended to determine who is guilty of fueling Smith’s excessive drug use.

There will be three defendants called to testify; Dr. Sandeep Kapoor, Howard K. Stern and Dr. Khristine Eroshevich. Each one has already plead not guilty to a total of 23 felonies.

Remember back when Larry was fighting Howard and Anna’s family for custody of Dannielynn? We do. At that time Larry was bound and determined to prove that Howard caused Anna’s death by overdosing her. The problem now is that the tables have since turned and Howard and Larry are not only friends but they are working together on all matters concerning the estate of Anna.

Birkhead is expected to testify this Thursday or Friday. Will he stick with his initial conclusions regarding Howard’s involvement in Smith’s death? Seems like he is now between the proverbial ‘rock and a hard place’. Is he prepared to perjure himself with contradictory statements in court? We will keep you updated.

Howard K. Stern Arrested For Aiding in the Death of Anna Nicole Smith

The world speculated that Howard K. Stern aided in the death of actress Anna Nicole Smith. It has been nearly two years since Smith died from a lethal combination of prescription pills and now authorities have filed their first criminal charges in the case.

Stern served as Anna’s lawyer for many years and also claimed to be her lover. Stern was arrested yesterday along with Dr. Sandeep Kapoor. There is also a warrant for the arrest of Dr. Khristine Eroshevich, who is expected to turn herself in on Monday.

All three are charged with a total of 8 felony counts, for conspiracy to provide a controlled substance to Smith between 2004-2007. Other charges include prescribing and or administering drugs to an addict.

Stern and the doctors were arraigned in Los Angeles Superior Court where bail was set at $20,000.

Anna died at the age of 39 in February 2007 from an accidental overdose. A few months earlier her 20 year old son Daniel Smith died from a lethal combination of pills while visiting his mother after the birth of her daughter Dannielynn Hope Birkhead.

TMZ is reporting that both Stern and Kapoor were released last night. View their mugshot booking photos here.

Crazy Frederic Prinz von Anhalt, ninth husband of Zsa Zsa Gabor, 91, was actually born Hans Robert Lichtenberg in Germany in 1945. The 63 year old is apparently in good shape, judging from photos taken while he was rollerblading shirtless in Venice Beach this week.

Anhalt picked up the ‘crazy’ moniker after claiming to have had a decade-long affair with Anna Nicole Smith. Following her death due to an overdose of prescription medications, he stepped forward to throw his name into the mix of Smith’s male partners who were claiming paternity for her baby daughter Dannielynn Hope Marshall.

Based on DNA testing, the child has since been declared by the courts to be the biological daughter of Larry Birkhead.

Oddly enough, Virgie Arthur, the mother of deceased star Anna Nicole Smith, is back in the headlines. This time she is suing TMZ and Anna’s companion and lawyer Howard K. Stern for trying to tarnish her image. No – it’s true. She thought she had an image and a good one at that!

Arthur filed her suit in Texas State Court on Monday. This all stems from rumors that she had mothered her step-brother’s child. Seems a little creepy but I guess anything is possible. The legal brief states:

“Their goal was simple and straightforward — to ‘destroy’ anyone that was opposed to Howard K. Stern or his interest.”

TMZ ran a story titled: Virgie has son with step-brother. Rep’s for TMZ and Stern have yet to release a statement. Gee, I hope she hits the talk show circuit in a bid to make America love her again – oh wait, did we before?

After Anna Nicole Smith has been gone for a year, her former bodyguard Moe Brighthaupt is talking. Moe was the one who found Anna Nicole’s lifeless body on the floor of her hotel room in Florida.

Moe, who spent the last four years of Anna’s life protecting her, has seen a lot. The bodyguard said that his former boss never considered Larry Birkhead, the father of Anna’s baby Dannielynn, more than a sperm donor. Brighthaupt said that Anna sought him out because of his looks, blonde hair and blue eyes. She figured her baby would have no choice but to be beautiful.

The bodyguard even went as far to say that in the beginning, Anna thought Larry was gay and that she only liked wealthy men. There would have been no other reason to be with Larry other than to use him for a baby.

For the record, Larry Birkhead has always denied any allegations of being gay. Moe had signed on to write a tell-all book with Harper Entertainment but the project has been put on hold.

Inquest for Anna Nicole Smith’s Son Delayed in Bahamas

The long awaited inquest into the death of Daniel Smith has been delayed in the Bahamas until November 19, because of tropical storm Noel.

The son of Anna Nicole Smith died September 10, 2006 while visiting his mother in a Nassau hospital where she had recently given birth to a daughter, Dannielynn. An autopsy report stated that Daniel had ingested a combination of methadone and antidepressants but left the manner of death an unanswered question.

Magistrate William Campbell indicates that the seven member jury will determine the cause of death. Thirty-five witnesses are expected to testify. Police have previously reported that they have uncovered no evidence of a homicide.

Virgie Arthur, Anna’s mother, and a small group of relatives were in the Bahamas to attend the inquest when the judge ruled that the proceedings would be postponed. Virgie and company were caught on film coming out of the court building. There were no sightings of Howard K. Stern or his lawyers.

Howard K. Stern, the guy that everyone loves to hate has filed court papers seeking 6 percent of any funds recovered in the Anna Nicole Smith suit against the late oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall II.

Howard K. Stern filed his creditor’s claim Oct. 18 in Los Angeles Superior Court. In the court filing, Stern specifies that his 6 percent payment is contingent upon a successful outcome in the Marshall litigation. He makes no claim against the Anna Nicole Smith existing estate.

Smith, who died in February, was the widow of Marshall. She had been fighting his family for years over his estimated $500 million fortune. Smith’s 13-month-old daughter, Dannielynn, stands to inherit any portion of the money that might have gone to her mother.

Howard K. Stern, in a secondary filing, has asked the court to name the toddler sole beneficiary of Anna Nicole Smith’s estate.

‘Serious Evidence’ Uncovered in Anna Nicole Death Investigation

Authorities in the investigation of Anna Nicole Smith’s death have uncovered ’serious evidence’ according to State Attorney General Jerry Brown.

Yesterday Brown executed warrants in connection with the death of Anna Nicole Smith because, he believes, “a serious crime has been committed.”

Two doctors, Dr. Sandeep Kapoor and psychiatrist Dr. Khristine Eroshevich, were the targets of Friday’s warrants.

Kapoor and Eroshevich were served with a total of eight warrants. Howard K. Stern was at the home of Eroshevich when agents showed up with the warrants Friday, according to sources.

Investigators have started serving warrants and raiding the homes and offices of several people close to Anna Nicole Smith who are under suspicion since her death.

Among those served is Anna Nicole’s psychiatrist, Dr. Khristine Eroshevich, who authorized all 11 prescription medications found in Anna Nicole’s hotel room the day she died. Howard K. Stern was reportedly at the doctor’s home at the time of the raid!

More than 600 pills, including 450 muscle relaxants, were missing from prescriptions that were no more than five weeks old.

The home and offices of Dr. Sandeep Kapoor, who prescribed methadone to Smith shortly before she died, were among those raided.

So what I want to know is why is there no mention of the man who was by Anna Nicole Smith’s side day after day? You know, the one who took photos and videos of Anna Nicole messed up, passed out and overdosed. The one who’s name was on the majority of Anna Nicole’s prescriptions. Yeah, Howard K. Stern. Any warrants being issued for him?
