He was born with good genes and is now fronting for high-end designer jeans. Patrick Schwarzenegger is the latest male model to represent the Hudson Jeans brand.

The eldest son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver is currently featured on a giant billboard on Sunset Boulevard.

Appearing shirtless for Hudson’s Fall 2011 campaign – heads are turning for a second glance at the buff 17-year-old.

But Patrick is more than just a pretty face. As co-founder of the Project360 charity, he spoke with Details magazine in the spring, “My mom raised me with the idea of doing public service, and I definitely want to go in that direction. But I also want to follow in my dad’s entrepreneurial footsteps.”

Modeling and charity work keep Patrick busy but he also has a summer interning job at The Grove and is getting ready to apply for college, with Stanford and USC at on the top of his list.

It has been a rocky summer on the home front, with the family secrets of his father’s mistress and love child covered by every news source on the planet. His parents have since filed for divorce.

Citing “irreconcilable differences,” Maria Shriver has filed for divorce from Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Shriver filed the petition with the Los Angeles County Superior Court on Friday to end her 25-year marriage to the former California governor after he admitted fathering a child with the couple’s former housekeeper, Mildred Patricia Baena.

13-year-old Joseph Baena, who bares a striking resemblance to his famous father, (see photos) was born a week after Maria and Arnold’s son, Christopher.

Schwarzenneger issued a statement on May 17, saying he told his wife about the affair after leaving the governor’s office. “I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and family,” he said.

The papers propose joint custody of the couple’s two minor sons, Patrick, 17, and Christopher, 13. The also have two adult daughters, Katherine and Christina.

Details of division of assets were not included in the filing.

The identity of Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s love child has been revealed by Mildred Baena. She appears on the cover and in the pages of the latest issue of HELLO! magazine with her 13-year-old Joseph Baena.

Until now, most reputable news sites have protected the identity of the boy who was fathered by the former California governor, despite the fact that his photos were prominently displayed on his mother’s My Space page.

Mildred provided an exclusive interview to accompany the HELLO! photo shoot, shedding light on how Maria Shriver found out about her husband’s love child: “Last summer, I brought Joseph over to the house. Until then, he hadn’t been around very much. After that, people in the house started whispering about how much they looked like each other.”

She went on to say: “Maria would ask if I needed to talk to her, and I kept saying no. Finally, she asked point blank. Maria asked me directly if Joseph was Arnold’s son, and I just broke down. I dropped to my knees and I was crying, saying that yes he was and I was so sorry.”

What was Shriver’s response to this bombshell revelation? According to Baena: “She cried with me and told me to get off my knees. Since I was retiring soon, I said I would pack and leave right away, but she said to stay until after the holidays.”

It didn’t take A Squared Entertainment executives long to terminate an animated cartoon and comic book project featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger and his family.

The company had been actively developing, producing and marketing The Governator, a crime fighting storyline with Arnold, Marie and their four children.

A corporate statement read: “In light of recent events, A Squared Entertainment, POW, Stan Lee Comics and Archie Comics have chosen to not go forward with the Governator project.”

That isn’t all that is on hold. The former gov’s lawyer Patrick Knapp issued a statement early Thursday: “At the request of Arnold Schwarzenegger, we asked Creative Artists Agency to inform all his motion picture projects currently underway or being negotiated to stop planning until further notice.”

It went on to say: “Gov. Schwarzenegger is focusing on personal matters and is not willing to commit to any production schedules or timelines. This includes Cry Macho, the Terminator franchise and other projects under consideration. We will resume discussions when Gov. Schwarzenegger decides.”

This recent chain of events is directly related to the revelation that Schwarzenegger fathered a love child with the family housekeeper more than a decade ago. The 13-year-old boy, reportedly the spitting image of Arnold, was born just four days after Maria gave birth to their youngest son Christopher.

Mildred Baena, 50, has been identified as the 20 year employee of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Marie Shriver, who is at the center of a scandal that caused the couple’s breakup.

The woman conceived a child with Schwarzenegger and gave birth to their son at least a decade ago. His age was first reported to be 10 but newer reports suggest the child could be as old as 14.

Mildred kept her secret through the years, while reportedly receiving $1,200 a week as a housekeeper. She was given a severance package in January, within days of Shriver’s decision to move out of the couple’s Brentwood home.

Baena now lives in a 4-bedroom house with a pool, located several hours outside of LA, with her son and three other children.

The former governor confirmed the news earlier this week, admitting that he did father a child. It appears that his mistress was pregnant at the same time his wife was also pregnant with the high profile couple’s youngest son. Arnold said: “I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and family.”
