Hilary Duff Two and a Half Men

Actress Hilary Duff will be returning to television this spring as a love interest of Ashton Kutcher‘s character Walden on the ‘Two and a Half Men’ season finale.

The report, posted by TVLine, indicates that Duff, as Stacey, will catch Walden’s eye during the last episode of the current cycle.

Word is that she won’t keep his attention for long, as Walden ends up falling for her grandmother — played by ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ star Marilu Henner, 60.

The whole cougar thing for Kutcher seems fitting.  He is currently going through a real life divorce with actress Demi Moore, who happens to be fifteen years older than her estranged husband.

Duff tweeted her excitement yesterday, giving a shout-out to Marilu.

Hillary wed retired NHL player Mike Comrie in 2010 and is in terrific shape after giving birth to their son Luca last March.

She told US Weekly, “My trainer helped me lose a sh-t ton of weight. I lost like 30 pounds. His name is Gabe Johns and he is amazing. He’s a boxing trainer and he comes to my house. I live in the Canyon, so we just run. He runs my ass up and down the hill.”

Ashton Kutcher has a great deal on his plate right now, including a divorce action, a hot girlfriend,  a top rated television sitcom and a coveted movie role portraying Apple co-founder Steve Jobs.

The Iowa native spoke with ELLE magazine about the price of fame, his work and the women in his life.

The college dropout has had to fight the perception that he isn’t the brightest bulb, “People fill in the blanks really fast. They go, ‘Oh my God, he’s on a show ‘Two and a Half Men’ and plays stupid, so he must be stupid. I can’t control that, nor do I try to, nor do I want to.”

“There’s something advantageous about having people underestimate your intellect, insomuch as a lot of things are revealed to you. They assume you don’t know what you’re talking about, then all of a sudden, you do. And the next thing you know, you have information you wouldn’t normally have.”

‘jOBS’ director Joshua Michael Stern knew there would be a backlash no matter who he cast for the role and warned Ashton up front.  For Ashton, he admits he was scared to take on the role and for him that indicated that it was a good thing.

Kutcher likes to challenge himself professionally and personally, “There was a point in time where I was doing movies to be able to afford to live in a certain way. You know, I didn’t really go the starving-artist route. I kind of went and did massive, commercial things. ‘Two and a Half Men’ is a very commercial show. But it’s very fun to do. I’m surrounded by an amazing group of people. And I can be home for dinner.”

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis

When it comes to his personal life, he remains closed-mouthed about his relationship with Mila Kunis and so does she.

He acknowledged, “You know, I’ve learned the hard way how valuable privacy is.  And I’ve learned that there are a lot of things in your life that really benefit from being private. And relationships are one of them. And I am going to do everything in my power to have this relationship with Kunis be private.”

Ashton was tossed to the curb by Demi Moore in November 2011 after he was caught cheating.  Their divorce will likely be finalized sometime this year.

He wasn’t willing to comment on his relationship with his three step-daughters, “There are some things that are better left private. Someone once told me, ‘If anyone wants to be rich and famous, let them be rich first and see if they still want to be famous.’”

Demi Moore seeking spousal support

Demi Moore is seeking spousal support according to divorce documents filed in a Los Angeles court this week.

Her paperwork is in response to the initial December filing by her estranged husband Ashton Kutcher.

Both sets of docs cite “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split that occurred in November 2011.  Their union hung in limbo for over a year before the ‘Two and a Half Men’ actor made the first move to end their legal union.

Ashton is reportedly worth $140 million and his wife edges him out with $150 million, $90 million of which she received when she divorced Bruce Willis.

The media has questioned why a woman of such means would seek spousal support.  It seems quite obvious for a number of reasons.  He cheated and he’s rich and now she wants her pound of flesh.  The fact that she doesn’t need the money is irrelevant.  Her career has suffered and she spent time in rehab to get her head straight … a heavy toll indeed.

Moore initiated the break up and announced, “It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton.  As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life.”

Kutcher has moved on with actress Mila Kunis.

Ashton Kutcher as Steve Jobs

Ashton Kutcher suffered a medical emergency while preparing for his role as the late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs.

The actor revealed details of a 2012 health scare to reporters while attending the Sundance Film Festival premiere of ‘jOBS’ in Park City, Utah on Friday.

In order to realistically channel Jobs’ character, Kutcher spent hundreds of hours watching his visionary speeches, conducting interviews with close associates and even adopting the “fruitarian diet” that the computer giant followed after receiving a cancer diagnosis in 2003.

It was Ashton’s decision to go “fruitarian” that came with serious consequences.  The diet, consisting of only fruits, nuts, seeds and no animal products, vegetables or grains may have been good for Jobs but not so much for the ‘Two and a Half Men’ actor.

Kutcher admits, “I ended up in the hospital for two days before we started shooting the movie.  I was like doubled over in pain, and my pancreas levels were completely out of whack, which was completely terrifying, considering everything.”

Ashton had other worries,  “It’s portraying a guy who just passed away that is really fresh in people’s minds, that people are really passionate about, and care about, and have an opinion about — that’s really scary.  Especially portraying a guy that I really admire . . . it’s terrifying, it’s terrifying!”

The film will be released in U.S. theaters on April 19, 2013.  Check out a trailer clip here.
