Avril Lavigne & Deryck Whibley Split

Singer Avril Lavigne and Deryck Whibley, Canadian musician, producer and frontman for the band Sum 41, have decided after three years of marriage to go their separate ways. They wed in July 2006.

In the current US Weekly magazine, 25-year-old Lavigne called an end to the marriage by tossing Whibley out of their 12,000 square foot $9.5 million Bel Air estate. Divorce papers are expected to be filed within the next few days.

Rumors of marital trouble first surfaced in October 2008, while Lavigne was on her world tour. At that time it was reported that Whibley was drinking and partying hard.

Avril Lavigne channels her inner sex kitten for the March issue of Maxim magazine. The 23-year-old pop star, known for her bad girl antics, (like spitting at paparazzi) shows us her sexy and sophisticated side.

The sk8r girl, who admits she still likes to party, choses wine over Jager shots these days. “I signed up to be on this wine list where they send you stuff that isn´t sold in stores. I´m a wino now. Last night we drank some Opus One.”

Did you know that Avril, who has sold over 35 million records and has three platinum albums, once sang alongside Shania Twain? In 1998, Lavigne, who was 13 at the time, won a competition to sing with the country music star on her first major concert tour.

Avril Lavigne in sex tape scandal? You be the judge. An extremely brief sex tape clip purporting to be Avril Lavigne, with her new single ‘Don’t Tell Me’ playing in the background, has been posted to the internet.

It is mostly available via bit torrent and while it could be Avril, there is no real way to tell. The shot is from the back and the girl is of the same frame and build as Avril but no definitive view is available.

Since this photo of Avril Lavigne running around L.A. sporting a bikini top surfaced, the word is out that she may actually be hot. Just goes to show you, boobs=hot. That’s nice to know. I guess that makes me a friggin goddess.
