Beyonce exhausted

Beyonce has canceled her Tuesday night concert in Belgium because the entertainer is reportedly suffering from dehydration and exhaustion.

Her publicist sent an email to the Associated Press that indicated Beyonce, who was slated to appear tonight at the Sportpaleis in Antwerp, had been advised by her doctor to rest.

Tonight’s show will be rescheduled and tickets will be honored at that time.

Bey’s next gig, slated for the same arena on Wednesday, remained up in the air.  According to her rep, “She is awaiting word from her doctors before making a decision.”

The 31-year-old mother of 15-month-old Blue Ivy Carter launched ‘Mrs. Carter World Tour’ last month and won’t wrap the schedule of summer performances until August 5 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Recent reports suggest that Jay-Z‘s wife is pregnant again.  We hate to point out the obvious — but her new symptoms certainly seem to fuel the baby-on-the-way rumors.

Developing story…

Beyonce and Jay-Z do Cuba

Jay-Z released his latest song ‘Open Letter’ this morning in response to critics who questioned his recent fifth anniversary trip with Beyonce to Havana, Cuba.

The couple received clearance for their “educational” journey from the U.S. Treasury Department after declaring their intention to meet with artists and musicians with evening trips to nightclubs to take in some live music.

Three prominent Republican Cuban Americans, Marco Rubio, Ileana Ros-Lehtinen and Mario Diaz-Balart, pitched a collective political fit.  Senator Rubio issued this statement: “U.S. law clearly bans tourism to Cuba by American citizens because it provides money to a cruel, repressive and murderous regime.”

The Treasury Dept. confirmed, “It is our understanding that the travelers in question traveled to Cuba pursuant to an educational exchange trip to promote people-to-people contact in Cuba.”

Jay-Z’s new tune declares, “I’m in Cuba, I love Cubans.  This communist talk is so confusing. I done turned Havana into Atlanta…Boy from the hood, I got White House clearance..Politicians never did s*** for me except lie to me, distort history…They wanna give me jail time and a fine.  Fine, let me commit a real crime.”

The rapper continued, “Hear the freedom in my speech… Obama said, ‘Chill you gonna get me impeached.  You don’t need this s*** anyway, chill with me on the beach.’”

Beyonce and Mathew Knowles

Beyonce ended her working relationship in 2011 with her father Mathew Knowles, severing business ties with the manager who had been calling the shots since the beginning of her career.

In a new interview with The Sun, Matthew spoke about the split and the pain that it has caused him.

“Normally I hate to talk about anything personal, but it would be a lie if I did not say it has been difficult. It was hard for me to let her go — it was hard for both of us to let each other go. And let’s be clear on that. She didn’t let me go, we both let each other go. That’s a big difference.”

“This was not a normal ending of a business agreement. This was a dad and a daughter and it was incredibly painful and it had some difficulties. But I try to always have a positive mind about things and you’ve got to do it the right way.”

Amid unfounded allegations that Knowles was stealing money from his daughter, Beyonce released a statement two years ago, “He is my father for life and I love my dad dearly. I am grateful for everything he has taught me.”

Bey’s spoke of the father-daughter rift in privately recorded moments during her HBO documentary ‘Life Is But a Dream.’

“I’m feeling very empty because of my relationship with my dad. And I’m so fragile at this point and I feel like my soul has been tarnished. Life is unpredictable but I feel like I had to move on, and not work with my dad. And I don’t care if I don’t sell one record. It’s bigger than the record, it’s bigger than my career.”

Beyonce could feel the lines being blurred in their relationship, “I needed boundaries and my dad needed boundaries. It’s easy to get confused with this world that’s your job that you live and breath every day, all day, and you don’t know when to turn it off. You need a break. I needed a break. I needed my dad.”

Beyonce wears Elie Saab at documentary premiere

Beyonce looked stunning last night in a sparkly Elie Saab gown at the New York City premiere of her HBO documentary ‘Life Is But A Dream’ at the famous Ziegfeld Theatre.

The entertainer rocked a sleeveless, slightly see-through couture gown that hugged her in all the right places.

She talked about the film, “I really grew so much.  This movie has really been my therapy.  I’ve healed from so many wounds and I’ve been able to understand why some of the things I’ve been through have made me feel really proud.  Hopefully I can inspire other people.”

The event came several hours after Bey filmed a high-profile interview segment that will appear on ‘Oprah’s Next Chapter’ Saturday night on OWN.  Her pal Oprah Winfrey made a rare public appearance at the evening premiere.

O hit Twitter after wrapping their sit down to share a photo that she captioned, “Did we have fun or what?”

Did we have fun or what Oprah tweet

Sister Solange Knowles wore a white shirt and jacket accessorized with a gold wrist cuff, a black clutch and strappy sandals.  Suffice it to say, the girl was looking decidedly leggy.

Mama Tina Knowles took her cues from what her daughter wore on Sunday night at the Grammy Awards, opting for a black and white pant suit – see Beyonce’s Grammy pants.
