Britney Spears graces the cover of the June issue of Shape magazine in a sexy white bikini.

She posted her cover photo on Twitter along with this caption, “Okay guys, the wait is over! We’re so excited to show you our gorgeous June cover featuring @britneyspears!!”

We’re guessing her 26,699,936 followers were thrilled to see the pop princess looking so fit and healthy. It seems fairly obvious what she has been doing since her ‘X Factor’ gig ended.

Spears has been hitting the gym with a vengeance in order to be ready for her next big adventure in Sin City.

She told Shape, “The Las Vegas performances won’t be simple–they’ll be a massive party from start to finish. And to pull this off, I have to be in top condition and running at full speed.”

According to The Las Vegas Sun, full details of Brit’s next gig will be revealed in three weeks.

When she isn’t busy working on lyrics and perfecting her dance sequences, the mother-of-two loves to spend time with her sons, Sean, 7, and Jayden, 6.

During a South by Southwest Film Festival Q & A panel discussion yesterday, Selena Gomez and her ‘Spring Breakers’ co-stars Ashley Benson and Rachel Korine gave an impromptu performance of ‘Baby One More Time.’

There is a scene in the film where the young actresses sing the Britney Spears tune. When a journalist at SXSW asked if they were lip syncing during the flick, they launched into an a capella verse of Brit’s hit.

The rendition sounded pretty good and got the attention of Spears, who responded with this tweet:

The film follows four college-aged girls who decide to rob a fast food restaurant in order to finance their spring break. Other co-stars include James Franco and Vanessa Hudgens.

Look for it at your local theater beginning March 22. Check out the rendition that got Britney’s attention in the clip below:

Britney Spears has gone from blonde to brunette since leaving X Factor, as evidenced by some hot looking red carpet photos from one of Hollywood’s many Oscar bashes.

The pop princess attended the high-profile event with her manager Larry Rudolph, who has been “in deep negotiations with Caesars Entertainment Group” to score his client a long term Vegas gig.

Elton John and his partner David Furnish hosted the annual Los Angeles event to benefit AIDS research. The charity viewing party was well attended and one standout guest was Jim Carrey, who was rocking some seriously large bare feet.

Former Victoria’s Secret Angel Heidi Klum also received a great deal of attention with her cleavage revealing gown.

What a week Britney Spears has had! The entertainer said goodbye to ‘The X Factor,’ announced that she and fiance Jason Trawick have split and now it looks like she could be signing one of the biggest entertainment deals in Las Vegas history.

Britney has been in negotiations with Caesers Group properties to appear in a ‘Celine’ type show in Sin City that will reportedly eclipse what the French singer is earning.

Celine Dion is paid $100 million for 70 appearances per year in the extravagant stage production at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. She did a previous 5-year stint in ‘A New Day’ before taking time off to have another baby. She hit the jackpot and delivered twins.

Those close to Britney’s deal claim that the Spears camp is comfortable that all of their stipulations have been met and there’s a pretty good chance she’ll soon be scouting out a Vegas pad.

We can’t help but wonder if this is part of the reason she and Trawick, a Hollywood agent, have decided to go their separate ways.

This has been a big week for Britney Spears. First she announced that she wouldn’t be returning to ‘The X Factor’ and now it has been confirmed that she and fiance Jason Trawick have split.

Britney’s rep Jeff Raymond said, “Britney Spears and Jason Trawick have mutually agreed to end their one-year engagement. As two mature adults, they came to the difficult decision to go their separate ways while continuing to remain friends.”

Spears also made a statement to PEOPLE, “Jason and I have decided to call off our engagement. I’ll always adore him and we will remain great friends.”

Jason said, “As this chapter ends for us a new one begins. I love and cherish her and her boys and we will be close forever.”

The split shouldn’t get too messy since they have always kept their finances separate. Spears recently purchased a home for $8.5 million in Thousand Oaks as sole owner. He has reportedly also been removed as her co-conservator. The duty of managing her empire will be resumed fully by her father Jamie Spears.

Britney and Jason began dating in 2009 and got engaged on his 40th birthday in December 2011. Sources close to the couple said that Britney wanted to have more children and he was not interested in adding more kids to their situation through he reportedly gets along well with her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James, born during her marriage to Kevin Federline.

Spears is reportedly in talks for a “big, nightly show” in Las Vegas, similar to the type previously undertaken by Celine Dion, Bette Midler and Cher.
