Casey Aldridge Injured in Crash, Charged by Police

Casey Aldridge was involved in a one car accident early this morning near Lake Bruin, Louisiana. The teen is the boyfriend of former Nickelodeon actress Jamie Lynn Spears and the baby daddy to their 10 month old daughter Maddie Briann Aldridge.

Aldridge was driving his Ford F-150 truck along LA606 when he lost control of the vehicle at 1:30 a.m. He was transporting several unidentified passengers at the time of the crash. A Louisiana State Trooper ticketed Aldridge for careless operation of a motor vehicle.

The 19 year old was initially taken to Riverland Medical Facility in Ferriday, Louisiana but was later admitted to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. He is listed in stable condition with what family members are calling a “cracked skull”, according to People magazine. Their family source said, “It is not as serious as we thought at first.”

Jamie Lynn Spears, 17 year old actress and new mother of one month old daughter Maddie, is living happily with her 19 year old boyfriend and baby daddy Casey Aldridge. The actress bought a home on three acres and the little family is said to be very happy with their new life in Liberty, Mississippi.

Spears new digs are only a 30 minute drive from her family home in Kentwood, Louisiana. Her sister Britney Spears owns Serenity estate, where Lynn Spears resides.

The teen, according to OK! magazine, is planning an intimate outdoor family wedding at her home later this Fall. She is not interested in the trappings of a mega celebrity affair and has opted to keep it private and in her own backyard. Britney will be her maid of honor and Casey’s sister Ashlee will be a bridesmaid.

Baby Maddie Briann Aldridge: First Photo

On June 19th Maddie Briann Aldridge was born to teen parents Jamie Lynn Spears and Casey Aldridge. Ok! magazine purchased the rights to the exclusive photo shoot, giving the world a first glimpse at baby Maddie.

Spears is thrilled to be out of the spotlight of Hollywood and feels like she is able to concentrate more on the ‘ins and outs’ of parenting. Jamie said:

“Around here, everyone has the same focus. The focus is family, and that is a good way to live.”

Jamie feels like she had a perfect pregnancy and perfect delivery. Now at home, the star said they don’t have a nursery set up for the baby yet because they like her sleeping in their room in a bassinet. It sounds like the little bundle of joy is cutting her parents some slack.

“She is very good, she’ll feed every two or three hours. When she wakes up in the middle of the night, I’ll feed her and she goes right back to sleep. There’s no screaming and crying.”

Casey Aldridge Wants a Paternity Test

Daily Mail is reporting that Casey Aldridge wants a paternity test to rule himself in or out as the father of Jamie Lynn Spears baby. The reporter indicates that the relationship of the young couple has been on shaky ground for the past several months.

Jamie Lynn is back at home in Louisiana with her mother. She is reportedly studying for her GED, an alternative to a mainstream high school education. We’ve seen pictures of her mother, Lynne Spears, walking along side her daughter, coming and going from the class. Jamie Lynn can be seen clutching an arm load of books.

Daily Mail reportedly got their scoop from a reliable friend of big sister Britney Spears. Now that may add credence to the story or put it on shaky ground. We’re not sure Brit has any reliable friends, come to think of it.

Casey Aldridge, recent high school graduate, is reportedly working as a laborer, opting not to further his education.

Jamie Lynn Spears Nickelodeon Zoey 101 Show Cancelled!

Daily Mail is reporting that Nickelodeon will cancel Jamie Lynn Spears TV show Zoey 101. Season three has one more show to air and season four is already recorded. It is unclear whether those shows will be broadcast.

Two weeks ago, Nickelodeon issued a statement saying,

“We respect Jamie’s Lynn’s decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation.”

Jamie Lynn, 16, and her boyfriend, Casey Aldridge, 18, met at their hometown church in Louisiana. The couple claimed to be totally shocked by the discovery that they were expecting a child. The baby is due this summer. Aldridge recently graduated from high school and is working as a laborer, rather than going on to college.

Jamie Lynn is the younger sister of troubled pop star Britney Spears. It was disclosed yesterday that the older Spears legal team have ended their relationship – leaving her without representation in the court battle to retain custody of her children. She currently has limited visitation that could be terminated if her ex, Kevin Federline, has his way. It appears to be a very bad week for the Spears sisters.

Nickelodeon has not issued a follow up statement regarding the cancellation but undisclosed sources indicate that the show will not continue, under the circumstances.

Gloster, Mississippi is home to Casey Aldridge, father of Jamie Lynn Spears baby. The town of barely over 1,000 residents, is a tight knit community where everyone knows their neighbor and they all turn out for the Friday night football game.

Young Aldridge was a pretty big fish in a very small pond when he attended Amite School Center. The total student body of K-12 was 348 students. There were 32 students in Casey’s graduating class in May 2007.

Casey earned letters in football and baseball and served as senior class president. The strapping 6′1″ and 165 pound youth is said to be good looking, intelligent and easy to like. His teachers acknowledge that in the South, athletes are treated as gods and he had no shortage of female admirers.

It is unclear how Jamie Lynn Spears and Casey Aldridge got together but those who know him say that he wore their relationship like a badge of honor. It was not hard to tell that being associated with the young celebrity gave him an additional boost in status among his already adoring fellow students.

Teachers at Amite say that Casey was bright but did not excel in his studies. They were not surprised to see that he took a job as a laborer instead of going on to a local community college. Aldridge has joined the rank of the working class as a pipe fitter in Baton Rouge.

Aldridge has gone to ground since the story broke and has not made himself available for comment – probably a wise move on his part. The future is uncertain for the couple but one thing is certain. There will be a baby born and regardless of their future couple status, they will forever be connected through their child.
