TODAY co-host Savannah Guthrie announced this morning that she is engaged to political consultant Mike Feldman.

The 41-year-old television personality showed off her engagement sparkler at the top of the show Monday, May 13, and her sidekick, Matt Lauer, was given the honor of sharing a Twitpic and the news on Twitter with this message, “Big news from Savannah!”

Feldman, 44, is a public relations and communications consultant and founding partner and managing director of the Glover Park Group.

In 1992, at age 24, he joined Bill Clinton’s campaign staff and later served as V.P. Al Gore’s deputy director of legislative affairs from 1993 to 1997. He went on to become a senior advisor to Gore during his failed run for president. He reportedly played a key role in Gore’s decision to contest the results in Florida.

Savannah and Mike have been together for four years. She met her previous husband, BBC television reporter Mark Orchard, during the Michael Jackson trial. Their union spanned 2005-2009.

Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent Engaged

Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent are engaged after an eight month relationship. The TV personality and interior designer spilled the news to PEOPLE on Thursday.

He said, “I’ve known since our first date that Jeremiah was who I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. We’re very excited about the next chapter.”

Nate and Jeremiah began their bi-coastal relationship in December 2012, splitting their time between Los Angeles and New York.

Berkus, 41, acknowledged, “As we’ve shared the news of our engagement and been met with so much excitement and support we’re both reminded of how important it is that every person have the legal right to marry the one they love.”

Nate popped the question to Jeremiah on Monday during a work trip to Machu Picchu in Peru and they later celebrated the momentous occasion with friends.

Berkus first gained fame in 2002 when he appeared on ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’ to makeover a space for the talk-show host. He went on to host ‘The Nate Berkus Show’ from 2010-2012.

The designer is currently working on a home goods line for Target and is penning a book titled ‘The Things That Matter.’

Brent is a former assistant to Rachel Zoe and was totally surprised by the marriage proposal. He tweeted a photo of himself with Berkus and other pals, adding hashtags #lifechanging #specialday.”

Sara Gilbert and Linda Perry Engaged

‘The Talk’ co-host Sara Gilbert announced Monday on the show that she and girlfriend Linda Perry are engaged.

Gilbert dished the intimate details of the proposal orchestrated by Linda, the former front-woman of 4 Non Blondes.

They were having a romantic picnic in a Los Angeles park when a guitar strumming street musician began playing one of their favorite songs. Sara said, “I’m like, ‘Oh, that’s so weird, this is so magical and amazing.’”

That’s when the picnickers sitting next to them pulled out string instruments and began serenading them with The Cure’s ‘Love Song.’”

Perry reportedly wore five different t-shirts, each with the words “Will,” “You,” “Marry,” “Me,” “?”. The entire scene was witnessed by both of their mothers and several friends who joined their picnic.

Linda sang Sara’s favorite sad love song which she calls a breakup song, “Missing You.” Sara said, “We had our proposal with our breakup song, which is great.”

Gilbert was overwhelmed, “I think that’s it and it’s like the most amazing proposal ever.”

Sara ‘came out’ in 2010, revealing that she and TV producer Alison Adler had been in a long-term relationship since 2001. They share custody of son Levi, 8, and daughter Sawyer, 5, following their split in August 2011.

The former ‘Roseanne’ star began dating Linda Perry in December 2011.

Sara said yesterday during her engagement announcement, “I thank you all for your support on the issue of gay marriage. I’m super shy and don’t usually want to tell anything. But I wanted you guys to know because I feel like you’re a part of our family here.”

Is ‘Nashville’ actress Hayden Panettiere secretly engaged to Wladimir Klitschko? According to some sources, they are in fact planning to wed.

The 23-year-old actress and the heavyweight boxing world-champion began dating in 2009 and split amicably two years later, citing the difficulties of a long-distance relationship.

Apparently absence made the heart grow fonder because they reunited in January and were seen exchanging PDA over the weekend at a Miami Heat game.

When asked about her rekindled romance with the 37-year-old Ukranian in mid-January, she said coyly, “We’ve been friends for five years now, so we’re just good buddies.”

Following their split Panettiere hooked up with NFL player Scotty McKnight. Their relationship fizzled out in December 2012, leaving the door wide open to renew her long distance fling with Klitschko.

The former ‘Heroes’ celeb has a tattoo running down her left side. Translated from Italian is proclaims “Living Without Regret.”

Christian Slater is engaged to longtime girlfriend Brittany Lopez.

The Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves star announced his engagement on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon Wednesday night.

Describing his first meeting with Lopez, Slater told the talk show host, “I went down to Miami a couple years ago, stayed at this little place called Little Palm Island, and this girl came walking along with another lady, a slightly older lady. I was sitting in my usual spot, eating my oatmeal that morning, and this spot was famous for people proposing to each other, and next thing I know she gets down on one knee and proposes to this older lady.”

“I thought I had just witnessed a nice lesbian engagement,” Slater continued, “so I was coming over to say congratulations, but it turns out it was her aunt and she was just trying to help her aunt capture the beauty and romance of the moment. She was making a joke, and I witnessed it, and it intrigued me, and the next thing I know we were hanging out in the Everglades.’

This will be Slater’s second marriage. He divorced Ryan Haddon, the mother of his two children, in 2007.
