Girls Gone Wild owner Joe Francis, frequently on the wrong side of the law, wants access to two of his bank accounts containing millions that the IRS has frozen.

The IRS has seized the business owner’s assets because of unpaid taxes from 2001, 2002 and 2003 to the tune of $34 million.  Joe, on the other hand, claims the government has $100 million of his money tied up and is adamant that he owes the IRS nothing.

Joe’s lawyers have filed papers in federal court requesting that the ban be lifted.  Francis says that the hold has putting him on the brink of financial ruin and bankruptcy.

Hey, remember this guy?  Who could forget Adnan Ghalib…right?  He was the paparazzi member who dated singer Britney Spears during her meltdown period and quite frankly could have been her third husband.

Well, he’s back in the news and this time he’s heading to jail. Here’s what went down — earlier this year Ghalib was accused of running over Ram Moskowitz, a process server.  Ram was only trying to do his job, delivering a restraining order that would keep the photographer away from Spears.

When the incident first occurred, Ghalib plead not guilty, but at the urging of his lawyer, he changed his mind.  Ghalib made a deal with the court, pleading no contest and receiving a lesser sentence for leaving the scene of an accident.

Because of the agreement, earlier charges involving felony assault and battery have been dropped.  Adnan will serve a 45 day jail sentence and will be put on 36 months probation, and be required to complete a 52-week anger management course.  Ghalib must also partake in 45 days of hard labor in a followup community service program.

The Spears team may well be smiling today.  Hey…where has Sam Lutfi been?

There is always someone to blame when financial ruin comes knocking.  Actor Nicolas Cage is slowly losing most of his homes and is blaming his long-time business partner.

Cage has filed a lawsuit in an effort to recoup some of his loses.  On Thursday Nick lost two of his French Quarter homes in foreclosure auctions.  The properties went for $4.5 million–far below their estimated value.  His lender, Regions Bank, was the only bidder.

Moving vans were seen clearing Nick’s belongings out of both mansions yesterday.  His Louisiana homes are not the only ones he’s shedding.  His homes in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Rhode Island are all on the market in order to pay Cage’s $6 million federal tax lien.

The actor has a new film out in limited release on November 20.  The flick is Bad Lieutenant:  Port of Call New Orleans.  One can assume that the government is waiting eagerly with outstretched palm to recoup that loot as well.

An argument broke out at the Los Angeles International Airport yesterday around 4:30 p.m.  The scuffle happened between boxing great Mike Tyson and a celebrity photographer who was doing his thing at the United Airlines terminal.

Sgt. Jim Holcomb said, “The two men got into a scuffle, and it’s alleged that Tyson hit the photographer once in the face with one hand, causing him to fall to the ground.  The photographer sustained a laceration to the forehead and was taken to the hospital.”

Tyson was arrested and held on $20,000 bail.  Records show that the fight champ was released at 8:24 p.m.

Mike was at the airport with his new wife, Lakiha Spicer and their 10-month-old baby.  They were coming from Europe with a stop at LAX before the final leg to Las Vegas.

Tyson’s lawyer Richard Schonfeld gave a statement about the situation:  “Mike Tyson did absolutely nothing wrong, he was a victim in this case.  We look forward to vindicating him and pursuing his rights.”

It has been a rough year for Mike, who’s 4-year-old daughter Exodus died in a freak accident at her mother’s home.   The fighter also spent 24 hours in an Arizona jail and was sentenced to 3 years probation stemming from a DUI and drug possession case.  Will this be a violation of his probation?  That will be up to the courts to decide…stay tuned.

Last week authorities were planning to extradite actor Randy Quaid and his wife Evi Quaid after they failed to appear, yet again, in court.  It looks like the Quaid’s have dodged that bullet after posting bond in the amount of $20,000 each.

They may be safe for the moment, but their next scheduled court appearance is on December 15th.  Charges stem from the couple skipping out on a $10,000 hotel bill.  If they don’t show up this time, a D.A. handling the case has threatened that they will be sought out by a bounty hunter.

Randy and Evi were initially arrested in Marfa, Texas, on Sept. 24th.  The total number of “voluntary” court dates missed thus far is four.

Disturbing video footage of Anna Nicole Smith wearing clown makeup during her pregnancy was presented as evidence that Howard K. Stern and two doctors conspired to keep her in a drug stupor in the years preceding her death.

Prosecutors introduced the 45-minute video in a preliminary hearing last week intended to determine what role  Stern, Dr. Sandeep Kapoor, and Dr. Khristine Eroshevich played in Smith’s death.

The video was shot during a birthday party for 9-year-old Riley Shelley, the daughter of Gina Shelley, who’s father owned the Bahama’s home Smith lived in.

Riley’s father, Ford Shelley, took the tape from the home the day after Smith’s death, and released segments to the media.

In the video, Smith appears confused, mistaking a baby doll for her unborn child.

Stern claims Smith was acting for the camera.

It seems Stern had a penchant for photographing and filming Smith in drugged states.  Alarming pictures of a previous drug overdose, taken from Stern’s camera, showed her naked and covered with vomit.

Be very careful what you call actress Kate Winslet…or you may ended up paying big, just like the The Daily Mail did.   The British tabloid lost a lawsuit for $40,000, for publishing a story that ripped Kate for allegedly lying about her fitness routine.

Interesting, when you consider that half of the population lies about their fitness routine.  The article in question was titled, “Should Kate Winslet Win an Oscar for the World’s Most Irritating Actress?”  Winslet took offense, citing the fact that it damaged her personal and professional reputation.

The court sided with the actress and ruled that The Daily Mail must print a public apologize to the actress AND pay her $40,000.

Actor Randy Quaid and his wife Evi Quaid have been given several opportunities by the Santa Barbara court system to show up and face charges stemming from an unpaid hotel bill.  Once again the two have failed to appear for their scheduled hearing.

California prosecutors will now move ahead with extradition proceedings against the couple.  Their arrest warrants remain active according to senior deputy district attorney Lee Carter.  He indicated his office will seek extradition from Texas, where Randy and Evi were arrested last month.

The felony charges stem from a luxury resort stay where the couple racked up charges totaling $10,000.  They skipped on the bill after being told that their credit card had been declined.

Back in September, singer Chris Brown spoke out about how betrayed he felt after talk show queen Oprah Winfrey aired a show on domestic violence and dedicated it to all the “Rihanna’s of the world.”

For Brown, who is no longer welcome on Oprah, this was a slap in the face and he felt she should have been as sympathetic to his plight as she was toward the victims.  Brown isn’t the only one harboring hard feelings and it looks as though Winfrey may be operating under a double standard.

Gospel singer BeBe Winans was on Oprah last Friday promoting his new album.  What is the problem with that?  BeBe is accused of domestic violence against his wife Debra Winans.  BeBe reportedly shoved Debra to the ground in front of their children.  Charges are pending for the singer, who has another court date scheduled for early next year.

Debra spoke with TMZ and said that she was hurt that Oprah would have BeBe on the show.

So we’ve already covered the story about the crazy lady from Canada who claims that actor Keanu Reeves is the father of at least one of her four kids.  And mind you….these kids are old!  Now we can give you the verdict.

Karen Sala was requesting $150,000 per month in child support to be retroactive back to 1988.  This is where it gets crazy.  She was also requesting $3 million in spousal support…and they were never married.

Keanu has always said that he has never met Sala.  To put an end to this madness, Reeves submitted a DNA test to prove that he was not the father of the Canadian children.

The results are now in folks and just as he always claimed…. he is NOT the father.  Now what happens to this woman for wasting everyone’s time?
