Somebody needs to tell outspoken Sharon Osbourne that it is too late for her to be apologizing to poor Britain’s Got Talent contestant Susan Boyle.  We are embarrassed to even be quoting Osbourne, who ridiculed Boyle on Siruis XM’s Opie & Anthony Show.

“She is a lovely lady.  You just want to say ‘God bless’ and here’s a Gillette razor.”  She went on to say, “God gave her talent, but hit her with a f~#&ing ugly stick.”   She wasn’t yet satisfied that she had totally trashed the woman, and continued, “I like everybody to do well.  Even somebody that looks like a slapped arse…God bless her.  It’s like, ‘You go girl’.  She looks like a hairy a**hole.”

Boyle performed on Dancing With The Stars during Tuesday night’s results show.  We are guess that daughter Kelly Osbourne, a semi-finalist on the show, must have been totally humiliated about her mother’s inappropriate comments.

The America’s Got Talent judge has suddenly come to her senses and has issued an apology to Susan via her Facebook page and her Twitter page. “Susan Boyle is a lovely and gracious woman and I took advantage of that by poking fun at her.  I would never want to be responsible for hurting Susan and I must apologize for getting a cheap laugh at her expense.”

Completely unacceptable!  That apology makes it even worse for us.  Does Sharon forget that the world has seen photos of her before all of her surgeries?

Singer Joss Stone recently sat for an interview with Britain’s Star magazine and it has anti-drug campaigners freaking out.  You may have guessed it…the 22-year-old admitted to smoking weed on a regular basis, calling it “fun”.

Here’s what the uproar is about:  Joss said, “I smoke weed, but I don’t think it’s really a drug.  It’s more an herb.  I don’t regret saying that at all.  I think everyone smokes weed and people who say they don’t are lying!  Weed has been given this evil stamp, but how is it dangerous?  It’s going to make you laugh your a** off?  You might go to sleep?  I think alcohol is much more harmful.”

How often does Stone do drugs?  Well she said it depends on the day and if the studio allows smoking or not and what song she is working on.  As for harsher drugs, Stone said “I don’t want to take all those horrible drugs.  Although some sound fun, so I might dabble now and then!”

The head of the National Drug Prevention Alliance, David Raynes said, “She should consider the effects that her comments have on other people, especially young fans who look up to her.  People like Joss Stone should keep their mouths shut about things like this.  It is terribly damaging and she clearly hasn’t considered the wider effects of the drug, although she clearly didn’t get to become a pop star because she is a student of social sciences.  We already have a drug culture in the U.K. and she is simply adding to it.”

Please girl’s–don’t send us hate mail because these were Robert Pattinson’s own words, not ours.  Busy promoting the latest installment of the popular vampire series Twilight: New Moon, Robert has been answering many personal questions about his life.

On top of the list are inquiries about his love life.  Everyone wants to know how he would treat a girl.  Rob actually considers himself wimpy.  He said, “I can’t think of a single romantic thing that I have done.  I would never serenade someone to be romantic – you have to have so much balls to do that.  I put a flower in someones locker when I was 15 years old, this girl named Maria.  She thought that it was someone else, and the guy claimed it as well, which is great.”

Rumored to be dating his Twilight costar Kristin Stewart, Robert is overly private and calls himself “obsessive and possessive”.  He acknowledges that he can take things to extremes and at times it can be ridiculous.

Pattinson will not allow anyone to call the shots in his life.  He said, “I don’t listen to anyone else.  That’s why I don’t have a publicist – I can’t stand it if someone is trying to tell me to do something which might be a mistake.”

Girls and women of all ages are “in love” with Robert and/or his character Edward Cullen.   Alixis Smith wrote in to tell us about her love for Robert and we gotta say, she is pretty much right on the mark with her observations, which seem to mirror the way Pattinson describes himself:

“Most people love him as Edward Cullen in the Twilight saga books.  I however love him for who he is.  He is the “typical” boy next door, who admits he is not perfect.  He is just a normal guy who probably doesn’t want to have so much attention drawn to him.  Besides being an excellent actor, he is a talented musician who writes his own music, sings and plays many musical instruments.  I like the normalness of how you see him in the media and how he doesn’t have to pretend to be somebody he’s not.  So I basically love him a lot, as a whole package.”

Former talk show host Ricki Lake is back on the market.  But not so quick guys–she admits that her heart is broken at the moment and it is way too soon to be thinking about dating.  Lake recently ended a relationship with an “unidentified” man.

She took to her Twitter page, and referenced the ex-boyfriend yesterday.  We’re reading between the lines and based on her quote below, it looks he may not have been gainfully employed and she got tired of supporting him.

So once Ricki is ready to find love again, what will she be looking for?  “I’m kind of a cougar, they have to be (at least) 30-something, with a job!  I don’t want them to take care of me;  I just want them to take care of themselves.”

Ricki has two sons with ex-husband Rob Sussman.  They ended their 10-year marriage back in 2003.

It’s pretty bad when your current girlfriend talks to the media and reveals that you are abusive.  This is the latest information to turn up about Jon Gosselin.  Girlfriend Hailey Glassman doesn’t hold too much back in a two-part interview to be aired on The Insider.

Glassman claims that she did not watch Jon’s show before she started seeing him.   She was not prepared for the fire storm that erupted when they returned from their romantic getaway to France in July.

Hailey revealed during her interview,  “He’ll call me and take his anger out on me.  He has ‘mantrums.’  I shouldn’t have to put up with being emotionally abused.  I cry and say, ‘Why are you so mean to me?’”

Basically Glassman calls Jon a liar and said it is hard to get the truth out of him and that he is great at dancing around the truth.  She even compared him to “Jekyll and Hyde.”  No worries, she said she still loves him.  Interesting…

So why wouldn’t she just dump him?  Because “I don’t want to leave him alone.  At the end of the day, I love him but dislike him at times.  When I love someone I would never hurt them.”

In summary–Jon’s mean and takes his anger out on Hailey, but at the end of the day she realizes she loves him.  He needs a partner and she is still willing.

Note to Hailey: there are plenty of girls who will line up to follow Jon around like a lost puppy in order to get their 15 minutes of fame.   Our advice: dump the bum before he dumps you.  Something tells us your days may be numbered regardless.

Remember back in 2007 when actor John Stamos was interviewed on the Australian show “Mornings With Kerri-Anne” and acted like he was smashed.  He was.

Finally admitting what the world already knew, John told the Advocate, “I’ll be honest – when I went on that morning show, I was drunk.  Yes, I was on sleeping pills and jet-lagged, but I was also just plastered (drunk).  And I never said I wasn’t, but that whole Warner Bros. publicity machine got involved and said, ‘just say he was jet-lagged.’  I said, ‘No, tell ‘em the truth, I was f***ing drunk in Australia, big deal.’”

The internet is going wild!  Is singer John Mayer gay or straight?  Oh my, has he switched “teams” as some websites are calling it.  These rumors started when he was seen at gay club Toucan’s Tiki Lounge last weekend.

Some bloggers were suggesting that he fled the club after being kissed on the lips by a male party-goer.  Didn’t happen that way according to Mayer.  John enjoyed his night out tremendously and took to his Twitter page to set the record straight.

“Rumor check:  Went to a gay bar in Palm Springs, yes.  Had a blast.  Danced my face off.  Someone there planted a kiss on me?  No.  I don’t like the story painting gays as unable to control themselves.  Found the crowd even more respectful than in a straight club.  You know who the flamboyant crowd is?  Straight, drunk girls.  They’re like a bunch of little Charles Nelson Reilly’s.”

We have to agree with John’s observation about straight drunk girls….they are crazy!  This isn’t the first time that Mayer has had to put the kibosh on the kissing men rumors.  Back in 2007 celebrity gossip blogger Perez Hilton started his own rumor, saying that he kissed John at a New Years Eve party.  That was vehemently denied by Mayer.

Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne was never really thrilled with his family’s rise to fame or the “increased” media attention that came from their MTV reality show The Osbournes.

The show aired from 2002 through 2005 and the “Prince of Darkness” said that it was an “experiment that went totally out of control.”

“It’s as if I went to bed in one world and woke up in a completely different world.  We went down to this market in Beverly Hills where you can just walk around art work and statues and dolls and all this stuff and I got this really creepy feeling.  I look around.  People aren’t looking, but I could feel eyes on me.  I thought I was getting paranoid or something.”

Ozzy won’t be reliving that experience any time soon–he wants no part of it.  His wife, Sharon Osbourne, on the other hand, loves being in the spotlight and is a judge on the hit show America’s Got Talent.

We love The Osbournes so this isn’t a direct hit to Ozzy but…the man has sold over 100 million albums and has had screaming fans throwing themselves at him on a daily basis.  It is hard to believe that reality TV was really that bad.  We’re just saying….

Ever since Christopher Ciccone wrote his memoir: Life With My Sister in 2008, his relationship with Madonna has been more than strained.  It looks as if Christopher wants to keep the fire fueled.

Madonna took the stage at the VMA’s to speak about the late singer Michael Jackson and evidently her brother didn’t think she looked very good.  Ciccone had this to say to E! News, “She looked like Rachel Zoe gone horribly wrong!”  He was referring to the black satin zipper jacket and dress that the singer was attempting to rock at the MTV video awards show – see photos below.

Then he got in a few digs against Madge’s young boyfriend and protege Jesus Luz.  He said, “It proves a point that you can judge a person by the company they keep–or don’t keep.  It is painfully apparent that Jesus may be able to turn water into wine, but your basic blow dryer eludes him.”

We will attempt to contact Christopher Ciccone today and see if we can get him to share more on the subject with us.  This could get interesting!
