Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has purchased a $5.65 million home on West 12th Street in Manhattan’s West Village.

The 3000 square foot, 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom, historic townhouse is the third property bought by Radcliffe in New York City in less than two years.

The latest purchase is one of three adjoining homes built by a sea captain in 1847 for his three daughters.

La Toya Jackson Losing Las Vegas Home

If singer La Toya Jackson doesn’t come up with $745,670 by the end of the month, she will have to say bye bye to her home in Las Vegas.

The luxurious condo is located in the Regency Towers at Las Vegas International Country Club. Initially the property was going to be on the auction block on August 31st but she got a temporary reprieve and the sale was postponed until Sept. 30th.

La Toya’s rep gave a statement to TMZ, “La Toya has an extensive real estate portfolio and her advisers directed her to the business decision to let this particular property go to short sale – where it is now.”

Jackson acquired this condo as part of a divorce settlement from Jack Gordon, so she say’s there is no attachment.

NYC’s Skinniest House For Sale (PHOTOS)

Billed the narrowest house in New York City, the 9 1/2 foot wide red brick building located at 75 1/2 Bedford St. in Greenwich Village is on the market for a not-so-skinny asking price of $2.7 million.

Famous for housing such notables as anthropologist Margaret Mead, author Ann McGovern and poet Edna St. Vincent Millay, the interior of the three-story townhouse is just 8 1/2 feet wide and 42-feet long, with a trapdoor in the kitchen leading to a finished basement.

The 990-square foot home was built in 1873. Christopher Dubs, an architecture preservationist, bought the home in 1994 for $270,000, and spent around $200,000 in renovations. It was purchased from Dubs in 2000 by the current owner, Steven Balsamo, for $1.6 million.

Stephen Baldwin and Kennya Baldwin File For Bankruptcy (PHOTOS)

Stephen Baldwin, actor and brother of 30 Rock star Alec Baldwin, is millions of dollars in debt and opted to file for bankruptcy in New York on Tuesday.

The 43-year-old filed for Chapter 11 protection along with his wife Kennya Baldwin. The couple owe more than $2.3 million; $1.2 million on two mortgages against their 1.4 acre New York property on the west shore of the Hudson River, and $1 million in back taxes. There is also credit card debt according to court documents.

The actor describes himself as a born-again Christian and recently did stints on Celebrity Apprentice and the 2009 summer reality show I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! that took place in the Costa Rican jungle. He currently hosts a Saturday Christian talk radio show on Xtreme Radio called Baldwin-McCullough that airs on 195 stations across the country.

Looks like the Jolie-Pitt clan is on the move again. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have leased media mogul Robert Murdoch’s Centre Island estate, Rosehearty.

Back in January, the Jolie-Pitts leased the $60 million Tudor style mansion, Sassafras. Now it appears they have loaded up the family and checked into Murdoch’s 10,000 square foot, waterfront Federal style house.

The gated and heavily secured estate sits on five acres fronting a 260-foot private beach facing Oyster Bay Harbor. There are 11 bedrooms, 7.5 bathrooms and 7 fireplaces in the main house.

The mansion was put on the market in 2007 with an asking price of $12,800,000. It was later taken off the market and was recently re-listed for $12,800,000.

Brangelina, on Long Island while Angie is shooting the spy thriller “Salt,” pays a whopping $100,000 a month to rent the home.

Ferris Bueller house for sale

The luxury home featured in the 1986 film Ferris Bueller’s Day Off is for sale.

The Ben Rose Home, located at 370 Beech Street in the Highland Park area of Chicago, was the set of the infamous Ferrari scene in the movie starring Matthew Broderick.

Designed by noted architects A. James Speyer and David Haid, the house is comprised of two buildings constructed of glass and steel, cantilevered over a ravine.

The 5300 square foot home is listed with Sudler Soethby’s International Realtors for $2.3 million.

The house, built in 1953, has four bedrooms and four bathrooms, with a 3-car detached garage, and sits on 3/4 acre.

Victoria Gotti Long Island Mansion Foreclosure

The infamous and dead mobster John Gotti must be rolling in his grave right about now. The mafia legend’s daughter, Victoria Gotti is “bitter” about the fact that she may be losing her Long Island mansion to foreclosure in the very near future. She is currently awaiting a final ruling by the New York State Appellate Court.

If you watched Victoria and her sons on their reality show Growing Up Gotti back in 2004, you may be familiar with the five bedrooms, five-and-a-half bath white brick residence. Gotti told reporters, “The house, all the material assets are part of a divorce package (from ex-husband, Carmine Agnello), I have never seen yet.”

Owing $650,000 in back taxes, this foreclosure process has been in the work since 2007. The property got a temporary reprieve at that time, in what the courts called a premature situation. Last week a Brooklyn Appeals Court overturned a lower court decision and has approved the use of a referee to put together the sale of the $4.2 million residence. Victoria’s lawyers have filed one final appeal and are anxiously awaiting the final verdict.

According to Victoria’s mother, “The creep (Agnello) that he is, he took out a mortgage behind her back. She can’t afford to pay.” The couple reportedly paid $175,000 for the home in 1989.

In true Victoria form, the bleach blonde mother of three boys, Carmine Jr., Frank and John, said that this should finally put to rest the long lived rumors and government lies about the $200 million reportedly buried in her back yard.

Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne have had their La Costa Beach house in Malibu on and off the market since March, 2006, when it was listed for $14,000,000. When slashing the price to $10,995,000 yielded no results, the home was put up for lease with an asking price of $25,000 a month in October of 2008.

The 4,500 square foot home, located on the Pacific Coast Highway, has 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms with a white on white decor. The living room has a fireplace and three French doors which open to the oceanfront terrace.

The master suite, located on the second floor, has a fireplace, a large walk-in closet and a marble bathroom with spa tub. Also on the second floor is an office/library with excercise equipment.

Hugh Hefner is getting ready to unload the Holmby Hills mansion that sits adjacent to the Playboy mansion. How much? A mere $27,995,000.

Hef’s estranged wife Kimberley Conrad Hefner and their sons Marston Hefner and Cooper Hefner have lived in the house since the late 1990’s and now that the boys are in college, the Playboy icon has decided that it was time to sell the property.

The English manor-style mansion boasts 7,300 square feet and was built in 1929. If you are looking for the luxury of living on 2.3 acres with a pool, hand-carved staircase, hand-painted walls, library, seven bathrooms and 5 bedrooms, this could be the place for you. Oh, and don’t forget, you would be right next to the famed Playboy mansion. We’re guessing this hot property will sell fast.

Hef and Kimberley married back in 1989 and separated in 1999 but never divorced. They purchased the home back in 1998 for $6.7 million.

We’re not sure what will become of Kimberley. Could a divorce be in the works?

Michael Jackson, who turned 50 this year, has leased a sprawling mansion in the Holmby Hills area of Los Angeles for a whopping $100,000 a month.

The home, a 17,171 square foot, 3-story French Chateau style estate, which sits on 1.26 acres, includes 7 bedrooms, 12 fireplaces, entrance hall with curving staircase, formal living and dining rooms, a den with adjoining library, theater room, family room, gourmet kitchen with eating area, wine cellar and heated swimming pool.

Earlier this year, Jackson’s Neverland Ranch faced foreclosure, and in November ownership of the property was transferred to Sycamore Valley Ranch Company LLC.
