Celine Dion Pregnant at 41 (PHOTOS)

Canadian news source Journal de Montreal first reported that 41-year-old singer Celine Dion and her 67 year-old husband Rene Angelil are expecting a baby. The story has since been confirmed by People magazine.

The couple have an 8-year-old son Rene-Charles Angelil. They have spoken frequently of their desire to conceive another child. They reportedly consulted with a team of fertility doctors in New York who successfully assisted the couple, enabling the musician to achieve a second pregnancy.

Dr. Zev Rosenwaks, director of the Ronald O. Perelman and Claudia Cohen Center for Reproductive Medicine at New York-Presbyterian Hospital implanted an embryo that had been kept frozen for the past eight years. The same in vitro fertilization procedure enabled her to conceive her first child in 2001. Rosenwaks indicates that “she is very, very early in her pregnancy.”

These photos of Celine were taken at the end of January in Miami. She last performed at the end of February.

Singer Celine Dion has always gotten into her music while on stage. Have you ever seen play-by-play pictures of the odd faces she makes? Celine played live at the Datch Forum in Milan, Italy and stayed true to form with her crazy faces.

I believe that you either love or hate the talented singer. I was able to see Celine in Las Vegas and it was absolutely a fantastic show; probably the most entertaining performance I have ever seen.
