Christina Aguilera Talks About Past Abuse and Love

Singer Christina Aguilera has been married for the past four years to Jordan Bratman. The young couple have a 19-month-old son Max. In a recent interview with E! Online, Christina broke down about past abuse and the love she has for her husband.

Openly admitting that she grew up with an abusive father, the celeb credits her husband with helping her get through her difficult past and allowing her to move forward while vowing to break the cycle of abuse.

“I grew up not having any real male perspective or role model and Jordan just continuously makes me fall deeper and deeper in love with him everyday. He just exudes such love and is such a great father to Max that it just makes me the happiest woman alive. I’m just lucky to have him in my life…every couple has times when they disagree, but I never allow any arguments to escalate in front of Max.”

The celebrities turned out on Saturday night to hear what Donald Trump had to offer with his newest project Trump Hotel & Tower Dubai. The star studded event was well attended by Hollywood’s finest who were interested in hearing about The Donald’s luxury high rise development in the trendy world business hub of Dubai in the Eastern Arabian Peninsula.

Those hitting the red carpet were Christina Aguilera, Hayden Panettiere, Kate Walsh, Orlando Bloom, Ali Larter, Brandon Barash, Hilary Swank, Aaron Eckheart and Pete Wentz. No word on whether any of them handed over any cash or agreed to give the project a closer inspection.

Trump threw his launch party to entice some cash rich celebs to grab a piece of his latest action. Landing a few big fish would enhance the project’s appeal to others. The money mogul has amassed a fortune for his business savvy and he appeared to be charming those in attendance. It looked like he was zeroing in on Orlando Bloom, in particular.

Christina Aguilera was enjoying a meal with friends at the Ivy restaurant in Los Angeles on Friday. Things turned ugly when she exited the establishment and was besieged by a mob of paparazzi.

We’ve got photos showing a sea of camera toting photogs, all vying for a money shot. Aguilera was surrounded by the crowd before finally being led to her vehicle by restaurant security. She looks like she kept cool throughout.

The singer recently gave her support to the Rock the Vote campaign. She is pictured in their literature singing America the Beautiful as a lullaby to her baby Max Bratman, who is wrapped in an American flag.

Christina Aguilera Rock the Baby, Rock the Vote Campaign

Christina Aguilera is lending her celebrity status and her young son to make a patriotic political statement for Rock the Vote. She is pictured with baby Max Bratman, who is wrapped in an American flag.

Aguilera, 27, filmed a commercial ad that captures her singing America the Beautiful as a lullaby to Max. The ad will be aired later this summer in preparation for the November presidential election. The Grammy winner didn’t hesitate to have Max involved in the project. She said:

It’s inevitable that he will be subjected to some amount of press. This election in particular is such an exciting and historical one, and so I was proud to have my son and I stand together for such a powerful moment and message in time.”

According to the Rock the Vote website, the television spots along with the print ad end with a call to action: it’s time to make history, it’s time to rock the vote; register to vote.

Over 850,000 users have downloaded voter registration forms so far this year, according to Rock the Vote executive director Heather Smith.

Christina Aguilera leaves Crown Bar

New mom Christina Aguilera has been taking a lot of heat since the birth of son Max for making her rounds in the Hollywood club circuit.

In a recent interview with Access Hollywood Christina defended her positions saying “I’m at home all day with my son, and once and a while, if I want to go out and have a mommy daddy date with my husband, I’m more than allowed to do that.”

I’m all for balancing family life, work and play time, but I have to say, it does seem like Christina has been out partying quite a bit lately for a new mom.

The sit down interview provides the details of her diet and exercise regimen that helped the talented musician get back into shape.

Married to Jordan Bratman, she shared a personal tidbit about her lingerie:

It’s kind of hilarious! I’ve never fit into an E-cup before. I look at my husband and go, ‘Guess what size this bra is?’ And when I tell him, he’s just amazed. We keep the tags that prove it, to look back for memory’s sake!”

Christina Aguilera and Nicole Richie joined the mommy club in the same hospital within 24 hours of each other in mid January. Babies Harlow and Max are now two months old. Their mother’s have shed their pregnancy pounds and are back to the business of being celebrities in Hollywood, which includes being photographed while attending celebrity events.

Both women are looking particularly healthy in the chest region in recent photos. At the risk of being indelicate, one must assume that motherhood has enhanced their curves. Nicole, in particular, was looking skeletal prior to her pregnancy. In any case, they both look like motherhood is agreeing with them.
