Courteney Cox Family Matter Halts Cougar Town Production

ABC has announced that Cougar Town has halted production temporarily to accommodate the shows star, Courteney Cox Arquette, who is dealing with an undisclosed family matter.

Some are speculating that Cox may be having a problem pregnancy, but so far there has been no word from her rep.

The 45-year-old actress plays a newly single 40-year-old mother on the hunt for new experiences. Her co-stars include Busy Philipps and Christa Miller.

Cox is married to actor David Arquette. The couple have a five-year-old daughter Coco Arquette. The actress reported some time ago that her biological clock was ticking and that she and David would like to have another child.

Coco Arquette Meets Zac Efron & Freaks Out

Actress Courteney Cox used her star power to arrange a meeting for her 5 year old daughter Coco Arquette with her idol, High School Musical star Zac Efron.

After finding out that Coco had a mad crush on Zac, Courteney set it up for Efron to visit their home. And let’s just say that it didn’t go exactly how Cox had planned.

“Coco gets these huge crushes on people. One day we decided to surprise her and invite Zac Efron over. We didn’t tell her he was coming over – She just loves him. We had a video camera set up and we told her to close her eyes , (then said) ‘Open them now!’ She freaked out. She was traumatized and ran to her room…she was like, ‘Oh no! I don’t want to go out there!’ I was trying to help her and she said, ‘Well, it’s his face!’”

Courteney admitted that she thought Zac was pretty good looking too. Coco’s father is actor David Arquette.

Coco Arquette Helps Dad Design Clothing for Propr

Four year old Coco Arquette may have a leg up on most toddlers with her parents being David Arquette and Courteney Cox. It seems fitting that she would get started in the business – right?

Daddy David has started a clothing line called Propr along with singer Ben Harper and apparently Coco wants in. Well at least she has put some of her designs on paper. David spoke with People magazine recently and talked about his daughter’s design ideas.

“She actually did paint a little red dress. She said, ‘Here Daddy. I painted this for Propr.’ She designed her own beautiful red dress. And it has a little heart shaped top. It was very elegant.”

So sweet! Proud daddy said that her design will most likely be in the Spring collection.

Coco Arquette was photographed outside of her Los Angeles preschool yesterday. She was being picked up by her actor father David Arquette. The little cutie was clutching Pooh and some artwork.

Coco Riley Arquette will turn 5 years old in June. Her mother is actress Courteney Cox Arquette. She and David will soon celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary.

Their latest film work is in the upcoming horror sequel Scream 4, set for 2010 release. The project is being billed as the restart of the Scream franchise with an entirely new cast of characters. Scream 3 debuted in 2000.

Courteney Cox-Arquette graces the cover of Marie Claire magazine in their November 2008 issue which will appear on newsstands October 14. She looks lovely as usual but it is her interview that will be compelling for most readers. Cox talks about her love hate relationship with Botox.

It turns out Cox is one celebrity who will admit that she’s tried it but she’s quick to share that she hated it. The former Friends star was coaxed into trying it by a doctor who thought she could benefit by a little tweak here and there.

After the experience, Cox said, “I was miserable. I mean, I’m an actor. I’ve got to be able to move my face. When people start messing with their foreheads and can’t lift their eyebrows, that’s weird. It’s not that I haven’t tried Botox, but I hated it.”

Courteney Cox Arquette recently did a photo shoot to hype Season two of Dirt. She plays a tabloid magazine editor. She gained notoriety in the first season when she locked lips with pal Jennifer Aniston in a lesbian kiss.

Rumors are rampant that Aniston will return this season in the character of Tina Harrod. The new season begins March 2nd on the FX channel.

Aniston, who played Rachel Green on Friends, is currently filming Traveling. Cox played Monica Geller on the successful TV sitcom Friends. She is married to David Arquette and they have a daughter Coco.
