Actor David Arquette, 41, tweeted a couple of images, including a decidedly buff photo of himself wearing only a skimpy flesh-colored loincloth and wrapped in rusty chains on the set of ‘Orion.’

The actor portrays a hunter searching for his brother in a futuristic wasteland that resembles a garbage dump.  His supporting co-stars include Lily Cole and Goran Kostic on the project that has not yet been assigned a release date.

Arquette has been getting into shape with the help of personal trainer Jon Paul Crimi according to the Twitter tag he included with the photo.

He shared a few tips with Us Weekly:  “Don’t eat too late! Don’t eat too much and go to bed. That’s a bad combination.  I do like to hike a lot and basketball is my favorite workout!”

The actor and his wife Courteney Cox are separated and he is reportedly on-again with entertainment reporter Christina McLarty.

David Arquette and Courteney Cox are getting a divorce after a lengthy legal separation that dates back to October 2010.

Serving as his own lawyer, David filed the paperwork last Friday.  The reason cited was “irreconcilable differences.”

At the time the couple first went public with their marital woes they claimed to be “best friends” and vowed to work together to co-parent their daughter, who is now 8-years-old.

Their joint statement claimed, “The reason for this separation is to better understand ourselves and the qualities we need in a partner and for our marriage.”

Not long after the initial split Arquette did a stint in rehab for addiction issues.  He followed that up as a contestant on the ABC reality competition Dancing with the Stars.

Courteney and Coco attended all seven weeks of the dance competition, smiling and cheering from the VIP area.

Their last joint sighting was at Joel Silver’s Memorial Day party in Malibu, as seen in the above photos.

Immediately after filing for divorce David Arquette headed to Israel.  He shared a photo on Twitter that he tagged, “I had my Bar Mitzvah today at the wall.  Finally I’m a man.”

David Arquette and his Entertainment Tonight girlfriend Christina McLarty have ended their relationship.

The former Dancing with the Stars celeb tweeted, “Sadly I’m single again.  A long distance relationship proved to be too difficult.”

He lives in Los Angeles and her home base is New York City.  The television reporter had a brief fling with Girls Gone Wild creator Joe Francis before she met Arquette at a boat party last summer.

This was Arquette’s first serious relationship since splitting with her actress wife Courteney Cox.  While the two have been legally separated since October 2010, she and their daughter Coco were in the DWTS studio audience to support him during his seven week run on the show.

David did a stint in rehab to deal with alcohol and other issues in January 2011.  While appearing on The Tonight Show in October 2011 he told Jay Leno he had been sober for over nine months.

Is there room for a reconciliation between the Scream stars?  Stranger things have happened.

David Arquette put any speculation of a reconciliation with wife Courteney Cox to rest on The Howard Stern Show on Tuesday, telling the shock jock he is in love with girlfriend Christina McLarty.

Fans who thought things may not be over for the couple after Cox sat in the audience to cheer on Arquette before he got the boot from “Dancing with the Stars” may be disappointed to learn that’s not in the cards.

Although Arquette and Cox remain on good terms since separating last October, Arquette says their 11-year marriage is definitely over.

“She was sad, we were both sad. We both cried,” he told Stern about telling Cox that he was in love with his girlfriend, “Entertainment Tonight” correspondent Christina McLarty.

“If Courteney said to you, ‘David, I made a mistake I want to work on our marriage. I want you moving back into the house, I want you to break up with that girl. I know we have to do this for our daughter.’ Would you consider it?” Stern asked the actor.

“Uh, I mean, no,” Arquette replied.

Cox and Arquette have one child, daughter Coco, age 7.

Six contestants started out Week 7 …

Six celebrity contestants were still in the competition during Halloween Week on the ABC hit show Dancing with the Stars.

When Tuesday night’s elimination show rolled around, there were two dance pairs in serious jeopardy of getting the boot.  Nancy Grace was at the bottom of the leaderboard, with David Arquette not far removed.

Still enjoying the top rung were Ricki Lake and her pro partner Derek Hough.  In a shocking turn of events, Rob Kardashian and Hope Solo were able to move ahead of J.R. Martinez for the first time in the seven weeks of competition.

The judges have been pleased with the progress of the Keeping Up with the Kardashians reality star, who started out at the bottom of the pack but has slowly won over the judges.

In the bottom two with the lowest overall combined total of scores and viewer votes on Tuesday night were Nancy Grace and David Arquette.

Check out photos and video of the eliminated pair, David Arquette and Kym Johnson, below:
